It's only 5-10 minutes walk from the house and if you'd like to extend your walk you can continue on following the tram line to MOTAT Aviation workshop and then across Meola Road to Meola Reef and to the shore.

At high tide and in early morning or evening this is an amazing place to relax.
If you want to swim you need to visit within 2 hours of high tide for a pleasant experience.
