Just 2 min walk, across the main street. Authentic Thai food in a great homey atmosphere.
There is another newer Krung Thai about a mile north on the same street, after Valley Fair. A little more modern ambiance.
Food-wise, both are equally good.

Great place for Korean-styled fried chicken and various draft beers on tap (chimaek)! Dark meat, of course, as is typically Asian favorite. They have burgers, fried rice and salsa too. We tried the normal fried chicken, sad with soya sauced fried chicken - so good! Nice environment to hang out in Santana Row. After your meal, pop over next door for a movie!

One of our favorite Japanese restaurants nearby. We normally go for the entree combo of 2 main meats. My favorite is rib eye and saba (mackerel) while Michelle lives the chicken (dark meat) with saba. Big portions too. And of course, tasty otherwise It would not have made the list!

You won’t find Papa here anymore! It has been rebranded as Cooking Cooking (very unimaginative!)
A no-frills Hong Kong styled eatery with great noodles and roast meat. IMHO, their roast duck is the best in the Bay Area. I especially love their beef brisket noodle soup and wonton noodle soup. However, you won’t go wrong with any other item on their menu. Very reasonable prices.

There’s also a large Chinese market, where you can buy a fish and have it deep fried for free, located here. Need a delicious, quick and cheap bowl of noodles, go inside the market to the deli.
After a satisfying meal, you can take a drive across the place to Apple HQ’s mothership, to see it from the outside.
