Various culinary cultures from around the world with references from Asia and South America come to the table with a hint of portugality. Chef Rui Mingatos seduces the palate with a mix of unexplored sensations. At the weekend it is open until very late.
The decoration of the restaurant is very exquisite and extravagant.

Tapabento — Restaurant & Tapas Bar — is located in downtown Porto, near S. Bento Railway Station, in an old traditional building.
It is a space with strong features, from the typical architecture of the space to the food products that are mostly local and of certified quality. And our team is referred to by our clients as a warm and caring one. We speak Portuguese, of course, but also Spanish, French, English, Italian, German, Russian and Lithuanian.
You can enjoy moments of quality and devoted cuisine, mainly with our tapas: mussels, oysters, clams, razors, shrimps and carpaccios are some of the tasty things we cannot let you go without.
They serve meals à la carte, but also have the chef's daily suggestions for lunch on week days (from wednesday to friday).
Mondays they are closed, they open Tuesday from 19:00 to 12:00. The other days they are open from 12:00pm to 12:00am, and until 2:00am on Fridays and Saturdays.
The space is a non-smoking one, but they have a nice balcony on the 1st floor where you can smoke and watch the stars.
The music is non-commercial and they like to share Portuguese and world music.

- Cruise oh the Douro River (You can also walk the Top of The D. Luís Bridge and cross to the other side (Gaia) to get the best views of Porto.
- Catch a 'Tram alongside the river´between Ribeira and Foz to get to the sea side of town. (You catch the tram near Palácio da Bolsa, the Line 1 - Infante - Passeio Alegre).
