This is a native forest with walking paths through it and is a real gem. It is few minutes’ walk down Dingle Rd and is well signed.

Waiheke is a must for a day trip.. Ferry is 40 minutes and leaves from the city. Lots of great wineries to choose from, Cable Bay is hard to beat on a nice day with lovely views back to the city. Others that worth a visit are Mudbrick, Goldie and Casita Miro.
