If you like to go out to breakfast and want it to taste almost homemade, go to Ted's. It hasn't changed in fifty years and that's its charm. The prices are reasonable and sitting at the old-fashioned soda counter is a treat you won't want to miss.

Walters is one of those neighborhood gems where they might not know your name, but go in anyhow. The drinks are cheap, the food is good, and the people watching even better. One caveat... they don't do table service so order everything at the bar.

Camp has a great vibe. The lodge decor is homey and it's very spacious. The prices aren't as cheap as Walters but they make a good old fashioned too. And, if you are in town to see a game, they have a handy shuttle so leave the car and ride with them.

We love sitting on Leff's patio in the spring and summer. Kids and adults alike love their patio games. Their wings are fantastic. (I never was a fan of wings until I had theirs.)
