UPDATE THRILLIST RECOMMENDATIONS. Miami has beautiful beaches where you can enjoy the sun and sand, great food and pubs, and excellent shopping. But there is alot more to Miami. I hope my suggestions will help you plan your trip. When going to the beach, I can lend you beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler for your day trip to to the beach. If your car is big enough, I can also lend you y bicycles to take to the beach or other destinations.
Miami Beach is where your will find beaches, blue ocean water, restaurants, pubs, great parks, shopping. It has many places to visit, from Ocean Drive, to Lincoln Road. Rent a bike or scooter and you can really get to know it intimately. The New World Symphony season runs from October to May as an event venue for live music and performing arts. The New World Center, which houses a concert hall and multiple variable rehearsal and performance spaces, was designed by architect Frank Gehry.

The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in downtown Miami’s Museum Park overlooking beautiful Biscayne Bay officially opened on May 8th, 2018. The museum rests on four acres of land with four state-of-the-art buildings across a 250,000 square-foot campus that includes a world-class planetarium and aquarium.
The North Wing and West Wings provide six floors of interactive exhibitions dedicated to the ecosystem of the Everglades, the evolution of flight, human biology and more, with rooftops boasting both a lunar terrace with a telescope for stargazing and a solar terrace with an urban farm.
There are only a few institutions worldwide that have both an aquarium and a planetarium at one museum. It also marks Miami’s first aquarium dedicated to science and education.

To get to know Miami, I suggest you rent a car. Many of its pints of interest are spread throughout the city. It is said that everything is 20 minutes away in Miami.

Save on Uber
One way to save on Uber or taxis is to use the metro rail. The train will take you to downtown Miami, and from there you can hop on the smaller Metro Mover train, or hail a taxi or Uber.
