Personally, the best beach in the Costa Brava. It is a virgin beach without urbanization. Easy to park, parking 400m far. The parking cost 5€ for the whole day (or 3€ afternoon). The beach is great but the surrounding are amazing! on the north (2 minutes walking distance) there are an old iberian ruins up on a small cliff. on the south there is a pedestrian path that reached the best spot of the Costa Brava (3 minutes walking distance). It is an old fisherman's "village" called s'Alguer. Actually, it is a group of 15 houses painted in white with colorfull doors and windows. An incredible place where you can really feel the old times of the Costa Brava. Best pictures of your stay may be there.

Wonderful coastal village. It has an stunning castle up on a hill just by the sea. Nice old town streets full of shops and live. The only inconvenient: 15 minutes of a road with curves.

Girona is the capital of the region. Before Game of Thrones decided to set some scenes there, Girona was already a "must see". The colorful houses by the river, the shocking cathedral and an incredible old town full of live, restaurants, shops... but among anything else: history! arabs and jewish left their amazing footprint in the city.

The Marimurtra Botanical Garden is a historic garden in Blanes declared a cultural asset of national interest. It stands out for the abundance of cactus and Mediterranean vegetation. It has great views to the sea.
