Next door to the lighthouse is a Ocean Marine Science Center (small fee) that has various ocean life to see and touch and they also have a sea turtle rehabilitation center. and Outside a Bird Sanctuary with eagles, owls and other birds. (This area is free)

This small park is free to enter and enjoy Living Oaks that are over 2,000 years old. This park is just a few miles down from the Tomoka State park entrance. (Don't pass it)

If your looking to go fishing on the open ocean and catch a big one :) then here are a couple places.
I always recommend the Party/Head boat because of the low cost compared to a private charter, but if the cost isn't an issue for you or you want the private charter boat experience and the private attention then I have a recommendation for that too.
*If you choose the Critter fleet then I recommend you arrive early to pick out your spot on the boat (2 hours early) The captain will tie off your spot on a first come first serve basis.
