The French Cafe is one of Auckland's top fine dining restaurants. It has been consistently ranked in the top 10 of the Metro Restaurant of the Year award. White tablecloths and impeccable service showcasing local produce with a modern French twist. Vegetarian friendly too.

Opened in 2021 by internationally acclaimed NZ chef Peter Gordon known for The Sugar Club, London's Providore and being an early exponent of Asian Pacific “fusion" cookery. Showcasing local ingredients combining indigenous and exotic flavours. Relaxed dining and a great bakery section (out of this world cheese scones) if you want to stop by for morning tea or a weekend brunch (try Gordon's famous dish -Turkish Eggs). Takeaway gourmet meals can be ordered online or book a masterclass with Gordon at the cookery school on the premises. Located at 11 Westhaven Drive (near Victoria Park) - sit outside and enjoy the marina and views of the iconic Auckland Harbour bridge .

One of my favourite go-to cafes when I have friends visiting from out of town. Italian inspired dining with freshly made pasta and a good variety of fish dishes. I usually get two entrees instead of a main course. Casual setting with inspired decor and a bakery for daily bread or pastries.
