The chef Umar does amazing things with spices. Stay away from anything that looks like everyday non-Arabic food. Their best dishes are the things most non Arabs don't make. The oxtail, cow foot, lamb stews, etc all are excellent.

It's ugly, designed by committee and not worthy of the sacrifice it was built upon. It's truly a monument of mediocrity. NYC deserves better. In short, I hate this building. It stands for nothing but square footage and efficiency. It's may be taller than the Twin Towers but manages to be the poster child for underwhelming. But the Oculus below ground is something.
