The Wild Center: •Located in Tupper Lake, NY (29 miles away) •Open Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays 10 AM- 5 PM •December 26th-31st 10 AM- 5 PM •Price: Age 4 and under are free, Youth (5-17) $10, Adult (18-64) $17, Senior/ Military (65+) $15 •Tickets are good for two days •Everyday one of the naturalists brings animals into the Big Wolf Great Hall for animal encounters. These include ravens, porcupines, owls, snakes, and more. Ziplining at Experience Outdoors: •Consists of 7 zips, totaling over 2000 feet. •Has a view of the Mountains the entire time, including the Olympic Bobsled Track. •Two guides accompany you the whole time. •Tours last approximately 2 hours. •Hours vary due to weather. Call to book until May 2018. •Price: adults $65, children $50, Group Discounts available.   High Peaks Cyclery Rock Climbing Gym: •Hours: Monday-Saturday 9 AM- 6 PM, Sunday 9 AM- 5 PM  •Price: Climbing Gym Pass and Shoe Rental - $10, Climbing Gym Pass (Bring Your Own Shoes) - $7, 10 Visit Punch Card - $40, Yearly Membership - $100 •Call ahead if interested in top-rope climbing with belayers John Brown Farm: •Open year-round, Wednesday-Saturday from 10 AM-5 PM, Sunday from 1-5 PM •Price: Adults $2, Kids (12 and under) $1 •John Brown Farm is the home and gravesite of abolitionist John Brown. John Brown died in pursuit of freedom of slaves, and after an assault on Harpers Ferry to obtain arms in 1859 he was hanged in Virginia. His body was transported back to his North Elba home, along with several of his comrades who aided him in the Harpers Ferry raid. •John Brown’s Farm is open to the public and is part of the New York state Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation. There is also another key feature to this historical site: the trail network surrounding the area •In winter they are open to snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. The trails are dog friendly, they just request that you keep your pet leashed and clean up after them High Falls Gorge: •Has 4 Adirondack Waterfalls cascading over rocks into a deep crevice carved a billion years ago. •A self-guided nature trail that provides a view of the famous AuSable River.  •Gift shop and restaurant café. •Panning for gemstones and fossils. •Snowshoeing in the winter. oPrices: Children 3 and under are free. oSummer 2018: Adults $11.95, Children (ages 4-12) $8.95 oWinter 2017-2018: Adults $14, Children (ages 4-12) $10 oHours: Open daily from 9:00 AM- 4:30 PM   AuSable Chasm: •Adventure trail, biking, day tours, disc golf, gift shop, night tours, raft float tours, rappelling, rock climbing, tubing and winter tours. •Prices vary for each activity. •Hours: Winter (November 25-March 31) is by reservation only, Spring (April 1-June 29) is open 9:00 AM- 4:00 PM daily, Summer (June 30-September 4) is open 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM daily, Fall (September 5-November 19) is open 9:00 AM- 4:00 PM daily.     Hikes: THERE ARE TONS!!
