Wolfe River Chain of Lakes
To say there’s plenty of water to fish on the Wolf River Chain would be an enormous understatement. From Lake Poygan and Lake Winneconne through the Wolf River and down into Lake Butte des Mort's, into the Fox River and Lake Winnebago, there’s enough water on the chain to really find something for yourself.

If you are looking for a family fun experience, this is the zoo for you. I have been coming to this zoo for years and it never gets old. Great selection, good food, fun petting section. We have visited this zoo on many occasions. While nobody really likes to see animals in cages sometimes it is necessary for their safety as well as ours. Owners are very friendly and I believe they do the best they can do without further funding. Always a treat when the children can interact and feed the animals as well. GREAT hands on experience.

Boating , fishing, camping or just a picnic try Lake Poygan Park.
Beautiful grounds, knowledgeable staff and nice interactive exhibits for kids and adults. We love coming here!

We love the Wiouwash! We hop on parts of it when we're doing short walks around Oshkosh, and it's especially great now they've connected it to the walkway over the Butte des Morts Bridge so we can make a circuit. When we have a bit more time, we like to take our bikes all the way up to the end and back. The trail is well-maintained and makes great use of the former railway bed. We pass through farmland, fields and woods. We see cyclists, runners, walkers, dog owners, and people of all ages using this trail and we feel blessed it's so close to our home.

If your ever in Appleton, stop by Milwaukee burger company! You won't regret it! I had the cheese curd cheeseburger it was ah-maz-ing. As a Wisconsinite cheese/ cheese curds are a staple and this burger didn't disappoint.

Fantastic local steak place (combing bar & restaurant). I had a very tasty tenderloin (around $20) and menu has a wide range of steaks, burgers and some seafood. Up to spectacularly large sizes as well - largest burger is a 40 oz!
Our meal co issued of French onion soup, salad, and the tenderloin with additional mushrooms & onions, with choices of fries / baked potato / sweet potato. Mmmm.
