Amazing food, this is one of our favorites. Good for families, groups, whatever. They offer a full bar, too, and their mules and lemon drops are the best! Get the bread and sauce to start off, you won't be disappointed!

If the Macarons are on the menu, that's an amazing non-alcoholic desert. It's ice cream in the middle and yummy macaron cookies on each side, usually dipped in chocolate and local nuts. The food is beyond words yummy. It's a pricey place, we usually go for special occasions, or sometimes just for some appetizers and cocktails.

Ford Farms is defiantly a fun place to visit. Especially if you have children who love animals. It is located in Lindsay which is about 15 mins away from Tulare. They offer a small petting zoo and kids can feed the animals and get pony rides. In Fall they have a cute pumpkin patch and hay rides. Check them out for some family fun!

Visalia is the next town to Tulare and has a lot of fun activities and places to go eat , have a drink, ect. It's about 10 miles away depending on where you are headed. Shaver Lake is only about an 1 hour and 1/2 drive.
In the winter- get your snow chains and visit China Peak for some snow boarding.
Summer- Grab a bikini, and head over to the Lake for a splash time! Ask for our Shaver Lake Guidebook for more ideas! :)
