Wilder See also has the oldest protected forrest and Hornisgrinde (in hiking distance from Wilder See) is the highest Peak of the northern black forrest with stunning views.

Have a look at the cirque lake "Ellbachsee" from a beautiful viewing plattform (barrier free) and have a walk down to the lake - either quick by a small trail or alternatively more relaxed by taking a broad dirt road.

we have the biggest market place in germany! Your kids will love the water fountains. In one corner you find the city hall, in the opposite corner there is the church "Stadtkirche" bulit around the corner with separated naves for men and women.
