Behind our house, about 300m walk there is the Uetliberg (Zurich's housemountain) train stop. If you have a 24h ticket for the city, its valid on there too. A lovely view up there over the lake !

The place to see and be seen - and swim, or just play beachvolleyball and have some cooktails. Usually extremely cramped, but well its all about being there !

Personally one of my favourites in summer for a swim and a bbq - when you reach the place its at the front cramped, but the further you progress, the more relaxed it gets.
