Located along a secluded section of the Lake Michigan shore, the Saugatuck Dunes State Park covers over 1000 acres along 2.5 miles of shoreline. Here visitors will find some impressive coastal dunes, some of which are over 200 feet tall.

This beach is a 35 min drive but definitely worth a trip if you have time. Lake Michigan is home to many beautiful Beaches and Oval beach stands out among them. With a wide, sandy beach backing up to low, coastal dunes, it’s really a dream location.
Be sure to check out the cute town of Sagatuck on your way down or grab dinner there when heading back to the house.
