This is an easy hike of about 2 hours round trip. Recommended for ages 4 and up. At the top, beautiful vistas and sometimes free range cows! Picnic on one of the large boulders. There is a mountain path and a gravel road path if you need a less difficult climb.

Very close to our home, this is a lovely trail through the woods. There is a small parking area available. No trail markers, but easy to navigate, and various paths are available via the app AllTrails.

One of our favorite trails. This is about an hour away, but worth it. This is an easy to moderate trail (some tricky steps and obstacles to climb over). Recommended for 4 and up. Bring water shoes! Take the upper trail for an easier time. Cross the stream to continue on to Little Bradley Falls (the upper trail otherwise dead-ends). Swim in the natural pool or enjoy a picnic!

A sweet zoo about 8 minutes from the house. Housing injured and rehabilitated animals, this zoo is ethically responsible. Highlights include some birds of prey, black bears, gray and red wolves, coyotes, a mountain lion, and more!
