Built under King George III. Church was by both Americans and British during the Revolutionary and later by both Confederate and Union armies. There are soldiers from almost every American war buried in the surrounding cemetery.

This is one of our favorite Saturday evening activities! A nightly auction is held every Thursday and Saturday night at 7pm in a climate controlled building with comfortable seating. Halls Auction is a 3rd generation run family business for over 40 years. It has become a local social event! We have picked up many treasures at the auction, but also love going just for the experience. Mention to the Halls the Dirks' sent you. Go early and enjoy a good Mexican meal at the restaurant located less then a minutes walk from the auction barn.
