Katie McNeil and Mike Smith, the bakers and owners of Pacific Sourdough sell fresh baked breads and pastries at the Saturday Farmers' Market in Newport. Market shoppers will find a wide variety of handcrafted Pacific Sourdough breads and specialty pastries baked fresh that day (often still warm from the oven!) and can enjoy the seasonal offerings and inspirations of the baker exclusive to the Farmers’ Market venue.
You can also now visit the bakery on Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 to 3 at 740 NE Mill Street in Walport's Old Town area. Limited hours, hard to find but worth searching out and getting something wonderful!

Cape Perpetua is a large forested headland projecting into the Pacific Ocean on the central Oregon Coast in Lincoln County, Oregon. The land is managed by the United States Forest Service as part of the Siuslaw National Forest.
Cape Perpetua is located about 2 miles (3.2 km) south of Yachats, Oregon, along U.S. Route 101. It is a typical Pacific Northwest headland, forming a high steep bluff above the ocean. At its highest point, Cape Perpetua rises to over 800 feet (240 m) above sea level. From its crest, an observer can see 70 miles (110 km) of Oregon coastline and as far as 37 miles (60 km) out to sea on a clear day.

Heceta Head (pronounced Ha–SEE–Ta) is a headland that stands 1,000 feet (300 m) above the Pacific Ocean in Lane County, Oregon, United States. The Heceta Head Light is located on its south side. Heceta Head is named after the Basque explorer under Spanish Commission, Bruno de Heceta, who explored the Pacific Northwest in the 1770s.The headland marks the end of a lower-lying stretch of the coastline to the south dominated by sand dunes; the coastline to the north is more varied. Devils Elbow is the bay south of the headland at the mouth of Cape Creek, and with the headland formed Devils Elbow State Park, which is now part of Heceta Head Lighthouse State Scenic Viewpoint.
eceta Head Light, the assistant lightkeepers’ house, and two bridges located near the headland are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Big Creek Bridge brings U.S. Route 101 across Big Creek, about 2 miles (3 km) north of the headland. Cape Creek Bridge carries U.S. 101 across Cape Creek, just south of the headland.
Heceta Head Light, a lighthouse, is 205 feet (62 m) up the headland. Built in 1894, the 56-foot (17 m) lighthouse shines a beam visible for 21 miles (34 km) out to sea, making it the strongest light on the Oregon Coast.
