246 Kerikeri RdIf you park up at Rainbow falls Rd and walk down to the stone store it takes about half an hour. You can have morning tea or lunch at the Honeypot cafe or the Plough & Feather, look around the gardens and the Store and then do the walk back up to where you’ve parked at Rainbow falls.

Take the car ferry over from Opua so after you’ve had a look around Russell you can drive to Long Beach. It’s only a few minutes away and a beautiful beach for swimming.

Ake ake vineyard is only about 10 minutes down the road. Has great food and wine and is open for cellar tastings for $8 until 4.30pm. They have organic wine too!

Great restaurant that is only open for brunch/lunch. This vineyard has a fantastic chardonnay called Black Rocks Chardonnay. Highly recommend a glass with your meal!
