Shopping Centres and Supermarkets
The two largest shopping centres on the Gold Coast are Robina Town Centre and Pacific Fair. They are very large and you can get lost, so pick up a centre map when you get there. Both include a wide range of stores and food outlets. Local supermarkets include (in order of distance):

The Gold Coast has so many options for visitors. We have beautiful beaches and the rainforest, as well as wildlife parks and theme parks.
We may be biased, but Burleigh Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Gold Coast. The headland on a weekend is a very popular spot for a BBQ and a swim, with the view of the city from the beach itself. Walking along the sand, or around the headland, you could spend hours here. You can walk directly down Christine Ave 1.5km, and you are at North Burleigh Beach.

-Burleigh Point
-Snapper Rocks
-Currumbin Alley
However, if the swell is relatively small, surfing the beach breaks just down the road near the end of Christine Avenue (our closest beach) is a good option with minimal crowds (unlike the typically crowded point breaks listed above).

This stunning National Park is approximately 45 minutes drive away. Springbrook has multiple walking tracks depending on your level of ability. Our favourite is the Twin Falls Walk. It has a variety of sights along the way such as viewing points, and waterfalls.

Each night, thousands of glow worms light up the cave at Natural Bridge. A short walk from the car park, don’t forget a torch! Approximately 1 hour drive.

One of our favourite beaches to visit when we want to avoid crowds during busy times. Take a walk up to the top of the headland for beautiful views over the Pacific and check out the old lighthouse which is still in operation.
