Favorite dining/drinking spots
Philly is a city overflowing with history, culture, and ever-evolving food scene. It's home to the iconic cheesesteaks, hoagies, and soft pretzels. Here's the list of my all-time favorite restaurants and cafes in the city.
"You get what you pay" is what can be said about Dim Sum House. It's a bit pricier than those dim sum restaurants in Chinatown, but the fresh taste of their soup dumplings and shumai will never let you down.

All you need to do is memorizing these lines, "Cheesesteaks, wiz wit!" or "Cheesesteaks, wiz without!". Oh, and some cash.

"They have legit Vietnamese foods," said a Vietnamese aka me. I usually order half steamed chick with a plain bowl of pho, and Bun Thit Nuong Ha-noi style.

One of the hottest brunch spots in the city, where the waiting line can be estimated 30-45 minutes. But for its Egg Benedict and giant French Toast, I don't mind waiting!

I love their creativity and retro atmosphere. Few things to note down before visiting the bar:
- dress nicely
- get your ID and cash ready (when I say cash, I mean at least $40 if you thinking to order about 2 drinks plus tips)
- no photos or phone calls once you get inside (the owner is very serious about this and nobody should be messing with the house rules)
My favorite cocktails on the menu right now are Philly Colada, Vesper Lynd, Happy Buddha (Phat Phuc).

110 S 13th StSince being featured on Ugly Delicious and Chef's Table, the waiting line at Barbacoa is getting crazy and crazier. However, the quality of food and service remain the same, which makes me madly respect its staff and owners Martinez and Miller. If you crave for tacos and two seem not enough, go for a half kilo ($32), half pork, half lamb, and I'm sure you won't regret.
