With aged oak and natural tones the barn welcomes your tired feet to a stress and city-free escape. On the route between Falmouth and the Helford River, it comfortably fits a couple with a child.
This south facing barn offers year-round accommodation with self catering facilities for those who prefer an independent break. It comfortably accommodates 2 adults and a child; with a large double bedroom and small single room. (The bedrooms are within the pitch of the roof and may not be comfortable for someone over 6'2".) The spacious open plan kitchen/lounge has solid oak flooring and modern cooking facilities with more than adequate space for evenings in. The paneled bathroom is fitted with a shower, WC and basin, with a stone tiled floor and underfloor heating. The utility is fitted with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Guests will be provided with hand and bath towels along with a welcome pack including the essentials needed for self catering. We're willing to provide advice, so please don't hesitate to ask us recommendations for activities or restaurants. We live next to the barn and will be present most of the time.
Pennance Mill is a rural hamlet on the road between Falmouth and Mawnan Smith, with country walks and beaches nearby. It's only a short bus journey or taxi trip into Falmouth, which would cost no more than a few pounds.

A stylishly furnished king-sized annex overlooking the garden with its own private entrance. The room is at the back of our Victorian townhouse and has its own ensuite shower room and a private parking space. It is located in central Falmouth close to the town centre, beaches, rail stations and some of the university campus buildings. It is ideal for couples, parents visiting their kids at university and business travellers. Please note there's no breakfast, only tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
The room and its ensuite are in an annex with its own private entrance through the garden. Guests are welcome to use the garden. Please note that there are no cooking facilities, but there is a small silent fridge. It is a quiet and comfortable space for a good nights sleep with its king-sized bed and blackout curtains. There is a private ensuite with walk in shower. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap and towels are provided. There is a 'storage corridor' with plenty of room to put suitcases etc and guests can hang clothes on hooks and hangers. There is a completely silent fridge, a DAB radio/bluetooth speaker next to the bed, and a desk to work at, or to sit and drink a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Please note that no breakfast is provided, but you are welcome to bring your own things to eat, or there are plenty of lovely cafes for breakfast in Falmouth close by.
The house is near the town centre, so there are a lot of great restaurants and some nice independent shops within easy walking distance, and a Tesco supermarket less than 5 mins walk into town. There are fab independent cafes called Espressini and Good Vibes Cafe close by which do great breakfasts and coffee, or there is a Wetherspoon pub/restaurant 2 mins walk into town which does a good full English breakfast for very little money. Or I can recommend Gylly Beach Cafe for breakfast - it is only 20 mins walk and literally on the beach!

Lovely, snug flat perfect for two guests looking to hide away somewhere in the middle of Falmouth, with gated parking and outside seating area overlooking the harbour.
Falmouth is well known for its waterside activities, and lively town vibe; and this flat gives great access to both. It's bang smack in the middle of the town, right on the water, and has the rarest of advantages in town - its own parking spot, which is inside a secure gated area. Newly refurbished, it's clean, warm and comfortable, but also (hopefully) tastefully kitted out with some home comforts. For sunny days, you won't be found wanting for access to any number of activities, safe in the knowledge that your car doesn't need to move after x number of hours. Regular activities on the main town squares are within easy walking distance, boat trips from the pier are on your doorstep, and the ferry to St Mawes less than 100 metres away. For rainy days, there's the telly with access to Sky...plus a variety of board games...and a PS3 with some old school classics...not to mention the bookshelf...or DVDs. Lastly, I do love a good coffee, so there's a nice Nespresso machine here to be used.
Falmouth is a year-round vibrant town, unique to Cornwall in that there is the omnipresent university crowd who give the area its energy. Three great beaches, countless good eateries, river cruises, fishing trips, walking routes of any length, pubs-a-plenty, and near to any number of days out...this town really is a great centre to a south Cornwall break.

My place is close to the beaches and great views of The Atlantic in the north and the sea in the south. There are restaurants and dining and art and culture in nearby towns of Falmouth and St Ives. It's an unique area where you can discover old Cornish mining sites. You’ll love my place because of the views and the space in my garden. The cottage is cosy and full of light. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families with kids.

Light airy room in Frogpool, a small village within easy reach of both the north & south coast & close to the Penryn Campus of the University of Exeter.
Situated in the quiet village of Frogpool, between Falmouth and Truro this house is perfect for anyone wanting to visit Cornwall, but stay a little off the beaten track & as such you own transport is definitely required in this area. There is always plenty of parking just outside. The room is fresh, and light, getting the afternoon sun, and a great place to stay as a base for those wanting to explore. There's a village pub that serves food and drink within walking distance. As well as the room we allow guests access to the bathroom, kitchen & outside areas. Guests are free to come & go as they please. We are pet friendly, we ask for a small additional charge payable on booking for your furry (or not so furry) friends. We're about a 10 minute drive from the University & 15 minutes from Falmouth which is the gateway to the beautiful Fal River which runs through an Area Of Natural Beauty. The town is famous for its creative buzz with many art galleries displaying contemporary works and venues showcasing independent films and live bands. The many reasons to visit include, the fascinating maritime heritage; the Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty along the Helford and Fal Rivers – perfect for walking and family days out; water sports; boat trips running from the pier and quay; and plenty of family friendly attractions. Falmouth is surrounded by several fantastic family friendly beaches and is known for its year round events calendar. Truro the only city in Cornwall is a 20 minute drive from us, the UK’s most Southerly city is a vibrant centre of shopping, culture and impressive architecture right in the heart of Cornwall. Centre stage is Truro Cathedral with its impressive gothic towers dominating the skyline. In its shadow, a warren of compact streets are home to an impressive array of independent traders. From boutiques to bookshops and designer interiors to delicatessens, this great little city offers a unique shopping experience. The café culture is pretty impressive too, with hip coffee houses, artisan ice creameries and cocktail bars dotted across the centre. We're also about a 25 minute from spectacular north coast beaches, Perranporth with it's 3 miles of golden sands & Chapel Porth with it's incredible cliffs & old mine workings are 2 of our favourites.
Our neighborhood is lovely, it's quiet and peaceful. Close to both the north & south coast beaches & plenty of walking. We are both mountain bikers, and there are some great trails right on our doorstep.

Perfectly located for Truro (Treliske) hospital or visiting Truro and the locality for work and pleasure, this shared guest accommodation is incredibly convenient for all main transport routes across the county and beyond. Whether your stay is for a stint working at the hospital or to discover the delights of Cornwall, it's the perfect spot. The house is a modern, warm, light space, which has been thoughtfully decorated and equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible. In a quiet, pretty estate with easy on-street parking, it offers independent check-in, a shared, well-equipped kitchen, plenty of bathroom facilities and South-West facing sheltered outdoor space. You are minutes from lots of amenities, but you can also access the stunning Cornish countryside from your doorstep.
This warm, modern house is situated in a lovely, quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of Truro. We have redecorated the house to create a calm, peaceful and well-designed space that will provide you with everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable stay. As the house is reasonably new it benefits from being well-proportioned, with working, new windows and well-insulated rooms. The house has 5 guest rooms with plenty of communal space so guests can move about independently without queuing for facilities, or can enjoy each other’s company as desired. All rooms have individual door locks. Your room: Situated on the 1st floor, up one flight of stairs, is room 5. We have thought hard to make this very small room a comfortable and pleasant space that is ideal for a good value, short stay. The room has a very comfortable, full sized single storage bed with a memory foam mattress, plus an open wardrobe with storage drawer, a bedside shelf and a lamp. The room is at the front of the house, with a North Westerly facing window so you can enjoy the beautiful morning sunshine and views across the quiet and pretty cul-de-sac. Communal areas: The whole of the lower ground floor is available for all guests to enjoy communally. The area is down one flight of stairs from the street level entrance but as this property is built on a hill, the space has access to the garden terrace through two sets of South-west facing French doors. As cooking is close to our hearts we have thought hard to well-equip the spacious kitchen with a microwave, utensils, cookware, crockery, hob, oven, fridge / freezer. There are plenty of cupboards and each guest is allocated their own storage space. For your convenience you will also find a washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board. There is a dining table to eat your home-cooked food and then a light, airy lounge with a comfortable leather sofa, rattan chair and T.V. to relax in afterwards. On Summer evenings you can enjoy a glass of wine on the sheltered, sunny, terrace, or on colder evenings you can curl up cosy with the cushions and throws to watch television. The house is serviced twice a week but we also provide cleaning products and materials. Bedding and towels are provided, but guests will need to provide their own food. The are 3 bathrooms on the property: One ensuite (for Room 3), a cloakroom in the communal area, and a shared family-sized bathroom on the ground floor, which has a shower over bath, basin with storage, and WC. With 3 bathrooms for 5 guests, queues are never a problem. The whole property benefits from super-fast broadband.
The house is superbly located in Treliske; a peaceful and attractive residential area to the North-West of Truro that is home to the county’s main hospital. The house is near to all main transport links for the locality, county and for further beyond and is situated near an impressive array of amenities. In the immediate vicinity is a local convenience store, Sainsburys, a trade park with several large chains including costa and Macdonalds, a leisure centre, a tennis club and golf club. What’s more, if you walk West for 2 minutes you are straight into the peace of the Cornish countryside. Truro city offers a renowned range of highly-rated independent restaurants, shops and bars, plus all the usual high street favourites. You can’t fail to be impressed by the stunning cathedral, or to enjoy the quirky Lemon St market. Slightly further afield is the beautiful village of Malpas, with The Heron (a local’s favourite pub) and exquisite walks along the river. If it’s the coast you are craving, you’re in luck! A 15 minute drive north will take you to a truly stunning trio of beaches: Perranporth, which has the UK’s only pub on a beach, Porthtowan with its expanse of deserted golden sand, and Trevaunance Cove on the shores of St Agnes, a quirky Cornish town where you will find surf schools, cafes, pubs selling local ales, and boutique after boutique stocked with local jewellery, art, baked goods and culinary delicacies. Each of these gorgeous beaches give access to miles and miles of stunning coastal walks.

Possessing probably the most astonishing view of any holiday home in Cornwall, this former meteorological observatory is a unique place to stay. Offering 360 degree views of Falmouth, the whole of the Fal estuary and across Falmouth Bay, you will be mesmerised both day and night. Presented to the highest standards, providing luxury accommodation, this is a very special place to stay.
Set on a hill, overlooking town, sea and river, The Observatory Tower occupies the highest point in Falmouth. It was built in 1868, as a meteorological observatory, where people could watch and identify incoming weather. Originally it had a parapet wall on top. Unfortunately The Tower went into disrepair over the years and was eventually sold at auction in 2009, when the new owners set about its complete renovation, restoring wherever possible. They were keen to keep the restoration as sympathetic to its heritage, while also updating it for the 21st century, to make it a luxurious and comfortable modern holiday home with every amenity you could possibly wish for. Located close to the heart of Falmouth, it is just a short 6 minute walk down the hill to the famous National Maritime Museum Cornwall as well as all the attractions, restaurants and pubs along Falmouth's historic waterfront. Highlights include Rick Stein's Fish & Chip shop and Oyster Bar. You could also enjoy a leisurely pint of local brew outside the Chain Locker pub overlooking the Custom's House Quay! If you fancy spending some time on the beach, the sand at Gyllyngvase is about a 12 minute walk away. Accommodation Ground Floor: A private bedroom, with 4'6" bed and TV, complete with ensuite wet-room & WC, is situated on the ground floor. There is a separate utility room which leads to a small external courtyard at the rear of the property. First floor: On the first floor is a flexible space used as a living room, but easily converted to a second bedroom when the wall bed (4'6") is pulled down. This allows up to 4 people to be comfortably accommodated. There is a separate bathroom with overhead shower & WC. Second floor: The kitchen on the second floor is both functional and interesting at the same time. The history of The Observatory Tower is depicted through photographs, plans and original weather reports, set behind a glass splashback. A bright and airy space, with rooftop views over Falmouth to north, south, east and west. Third floor: The main living room on the 3rd floor, with its large picture window overlooking Falmouth Bay, is a precursor to the top floor. Its funky sofa was specially designed to fit the space, with fabrics chosen to reflect the changes in the weather. Fourth floor: After scaling the 66 steps to the top, the observation deck on the 4th floor is what this building is all about. The 360 degree views are breathtaking and if you don't know what you are looking out at, the pelmet art above the windows will help you identify local landmarks. On this floor there is a wine fridge, a sink and facilities for making hot drinks which you can enjoy whilst taking in the wonderful views. Facilities & Services Heating is via under floor heating throughout the property. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a range of modern equipment. There is an electric oven & hob, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave & dishwasher. There is boiling water on tap in both the kitchen and observation deck. The separate utility room has a washer dryer. In the living room there is a large flatscreen digital TV & DVD player. There is also a TV in the master bedroom. There is WiFi available at the property. There is an iron & ironing board. Miscellaneous Electricity, heating, bed linen & towels are all included but you will need to provide your own beach towels. On street parking is available nearby. Regrettably no dogs are permitted. Strictly no smoking is allowed. Please note that due to the nature of the building, the property is not suitable for children under the age of 12. Please also note that there are many stairs in the property and some are a little narrow in places. General Booking Information Arrival / Departure is normally on a Friday. Short breaks are available during quieter periods. £200 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required.
Falmouth, the sailing capital of Cornwall, is renowned for being the third deepest natural port in the world, a haven for both cruisers and racers offering the sailor the last major port before the 12 hour crossing to the Isles of Scilly. Visitors to the Port will find the town teeming with coastal treasures, ranging from fish restaurants and boat trips to The National Maritime Museum, Cornwall next to Port Pendennis. Pendennis Castle built in the 16th Century sits high above the harbour with truly magical panoramic views across the bay. You can ride one of the Fal River Link Ferries to the beautiful St Mawes and visit Henry VIII’s sister castle or take a delightful trip around the estuary stopping off at either Trelissick Gardens or Smugglers Cottage for a cream tea. Falmouth Regatta Week, in August is the town's major event both on and off the water, fireworks and the recent addition of the Red Arrows provides a spectacular back drop for some high class racing. Later in the year the Oyster Festival shows off the rivers heritage to the full. Pendennis Shipyard host luxury yachts for re-fit and and in June 2012 Falmouth will host the J Class Regatta, the most spectacular event since the Tall Ships Race last visited in 2008. There are plenty of places to eat & drink in Falmouth and recently Rick Stein brought his Fish & Chip Restaurant & Oyster Bar to Discovery Quay adding to the superb mix across the town.

The Brook is equidistant from St Agnes, Porthtowan and Portreath with their stunning beaches with fabulous surf and acres of golden sand. Porthtowan (meaning cove of sand dunes) has some of the best surf in the UK. However it is sometimes not for the faint hearted and beginners should be careful but there is an excellent surf school which operates from the beach. Portreath (meaning cove of sand) is a delightful village which extends both sides of a valley leading down into a little harbour and beach. West of the harbour entrance are two more beaches with golden sands that are popular with holidaymakers and surfers alike. The centre point on the Bissoe cycle trail that links the north and south coasts stretching from Devoran to Portreath. with predominantly off road mining trails passes the end of your drive - no driving required at all!.Tin - the powerhouse of Cornwall's industrial past. Oak wooded, heather topped valleys with crystal streams once throbbed with the racket of tin streaming - winning precious metals. Engine houses and stacks bear stark, romantic testament to a heritage borne of the bravery and determination of generations of miners and Bal maidens. The area of Mid Cornwall, south west from Truro and only a short drive inland from Falmouth is full of this industrial heritage. The Victorian towns of Camborne and Redruth - both produced world-class inventors and engineers. Camborne's Richard Trevithick created the world's first steam-powered road engine in 1801. His achievements are celebrated at Camborne's annual Trevithick Day celebrations in April. You can follow in the footsteps of Cornwall's 18th Century tin miners on the atmospheric tour of the Poldark Mine just north of Helston.Nearby is Stithians Lake, for fishing, sailing, sailboarding and recently the stunning wake-boarding championships. For views of the whole region take the roads to Carn Brea or Carn Marth above Camborne. From here you can see St Ives, St Michael's Mount, Falmouth and east to Clay Country. Near here is the Great Flat Lode Trail through the mines and high moors. These days, most of the mining has disappeared, but it is still a fascinating area to explore and is steeped in history. A highlight is to hire a bicycle and ride along the old mineral tramway now called the Bissoe Trail from Devoran to Portreath or the North Coast. The harbour town of Falmouth is within a short drive with a number of attractions for the visitor. There is the fascinating National Maritime Museum or you can take a boat trip around the spectacular Carrick Roads or sample the stylish Rick Stein's Fish & Chip Restaurant or Oyster Bar.The Helford River and Lizard Peninsula are also within easy reach. The city of Truro is only a 7 mile drive to the north east and has a wide selection of good shopping including a Tescos, Sainsburys, Marks & Spencer and many other high street outlets. There is also a cinema and a great selection of restaurants, pubs & cafes. The resort of Newquay is about 12 miles to the north with its spectacular surf beaches at Fistral & Watergate Bay. Jamie Oliver's "Fifteen" restaurant is located here. Padstow, with its fine selection of restaurants influenced by Rick Stein is just over 20 miles. Harbourside towns & villages such as Fowey, Falmouth & St Mawes are all within easy reach. For those flying to Cornwall, the airport is within easy reach.

The Linhay is a recent conversion of a charming stone farm building situated in a secluded and peaceful position, in beautiful rolling countryside north of Truro. The luxurious accommodation incorporates many traditional features of the original barn, but uses cutting edge energy saving technology to minimise its environmental impact. A quite superb location close to the bustling cathedral city of Truro, yet also within a 15 minute drive of the spectacular coastline around Porthtowan & St Agnes. Dog friendly.
Situated 4 miles north of Truro, yet only 7 miles from the golden sands of Perranporth, the sleepy hamlet of Tregavethen is an enchanting rural retreat where you can find true peace and quiet, broken only by the sounds of local wildlife and the odd passing tractor. The Linhay was a traditional agricultural building that has been sympathetically refurbished into a quite superb two bedroom holiday home by its very caring owners, who live a short distance away. The accommodation benefits from a sizeable open plan kitchen / living space with dining table and sofas, and French windows opening onto a secluded patio area. There are two large en-suite bedrooms, one of which also has French windows to the garden so is a great place to enjoy a morning coffee. The Linhay is a particularly environmentally friendly place to stay with cutting edge energy saving technology including solar panels, an air source heat pump, LED or energy saving light fittings wherever possible, and a rain water harvesting and recycling system. There is also a cosy wood burning stove to keep things really warm on cooler evenings. One of our luxury, dog friendly holiday cottages in Cornwall. Accommodation Ground Floor Only: The open plan living room is bright and airy with a high ceiling and exposed beams, and incorporates a kitchen, dining area and living area with 2 large sofas. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and an en-suite bathroom with an over-bath shower. There is a further twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room and French windows opening onto a secluded garden. Both bedrooms are fitted with attractive, locally made pine furniture. Exterior: The private garden is on two levels, with both grassed and patio areas with unspoilt rural views, external furniture and barbeque facilities. Facilities & Services There is underfloor heating throughout, heated towel rails in both bathrooms and a wood burning stove (with an initial supply of wood provided - extra complimentary logs available on request in winter). The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, kettle, toaster, fridge / freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. In the living area there is a flatscreen digital TV and a DVD player. WiFi is available at the property. There is an iron and ironing board. A highchair and travel cot are provided (please bring bedding for travel cot). Accessibility information: There are no internal steps in the cottage, and small raised thresholds at the front and patio doors. The lower garden and patio are at the same level as the accommodation, and can be accessed from both inside the cottage and from the flat grassed track running beside the cottage. The upper garden has wide, shallow steps (approximately 4 inches high) to it. Miscellaneous Electricity, heating, bed linen (apart from travel cot bedding) and towels are all included. Guests are to provide their own beach towels. There is off road parking for up to 2 vehicles. Up to 2 well behaved dogs will be permitted at a small additional cost of £25 per dog/per week (please bring towels for dogs and do not allow them on furniture). Regrettably no smoking is allowed. General Booking Information Arrival / Departure is normally Friday. Short breaks are available during quieter periods. £100 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required.
For those wishing to sample the enormous strength of the Atlantic Ocean will do well to bring their surf boards to the Atlantic Coast. From Chapel Porth above Porthtowan, passing Perranporth, along to Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay at Newquay, up to Trevose Head and Polzeath past Padstow you will find all the best surfing beaches in the South West, of not only Cornwall but also England. The cliffs surrounding these beaches are nothing short of dramatic. In contrast to the gently rolling shores of the south coast, the north have dark mysterious drops where land has been eaten by the atlantic ocean, hence why the waves are far better here. Inland you will find Wheal Coates Mine, now looked after by the National Trust, part of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site. St Agnes is part of only 12 sites in Cornwall awarded Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Newquay is not only famous for Fistral Beach, but Newquay Airport connects the county to places such as the Isles of Scilly, Edinburgh and Alicante. The Saints Way Trail is a 30 mile path from Padstow on the Atlantic Coast to Fowey on the South Coast. Padstow is more commonly known as Rick Stein country following the success of his numerous businesses in the town. Lucky really that the National Lobster Hatchery is just a stones throw away. Wadebridge, once a Market Town is now more widely known as being part of The Camel Trail, that takes the cyclist out to Padstow from the depths of Bodmin Moor. Occupying a dramatic valley location with one of the most spectacular and beautiful beaches of the Atlantic Coast, Porthtowan has been drawing visitors for years to take advantage of its natural sun trap. A superb location for a holiday to Cornwall with a fine beach and close to good main roads means that you can easily explore the surrounding area on days that are not conducive to sitting on the beach. Porthtowan has one of Cornwall's finest surfing waves. Producing good waves at all states of the tide, the wave is particularly good in an easterly or south easterly when it really pumps with some lovely hollow barrels. It is not for the faint hearted and beginners should be careful. An excellent surf school operates from the beach. At low tide the beach stretches down to St Agnes Head and Chapel Porth Beach where you will find a lovely National Trust Cafe full of warming hot chocolate and fabulous views. The city of Truro is 4 miles away and has a wide selection of good shopping including a Tescos, Sainsburys, Marks & Spencer and many other high street outlets. The Cathedral City of Truro is in the heart of Cornwall and offers a wealth of facilities for the visitor. Dominated by the stunning cathedral, it is one of the south west's most attractive cities. Lemon Quay plays host to many events throughout the year including the Cornwall Food & Drink Festival in the Autumn and the famous Truro Fatstock Show just before Christmas. Regular farmers markets occur every Wednesdays & Saturday and there are also arts & craft markets on Saturdays. There is a wonderful range of shopping for the visitor including all the regular high street stores, but Truro also has a wide range of more specialist stores. It really is worth a wander through the back streets and alleys to find some fabulous little boutiques. Truro has a superb range of restaurants from Bustopher Jones & Mannings on Lemon Street to the always popular Pizza Express. There are lively bars, pubs & nightclubs including the superb Old Ale House, a busy Wetherspoons and the infamous L2 if you are so inclined! The Hall for Cornwall hosts everything from Shakespeare to rock concerts and the cinema on Lemon Street has all the latest releases.

We are situated in a delightful rural location - it sometimes feels like we could be a million miles from the hustle and bustle, but everything needed is actually in very easy reach. For groceries and other supplies, the closest shops are: o Londis in Lanner: A small convenience store North of Bell Lane, which closes at 8pm o Co-op in Redruth: A larger convenience store on the main road in, open until 9pm o Tesco in Redruth: A reasonably sized super-market o Asda in Penryn: A larger supermaket with homegoods, clothing, etc. And the nearest filling stations are: o Gulf in Lanner, South of Bell Lane o Imperial on the A393 between Lanner and Ponsanooth Asda in Penryn typically has the lowest cost fuel. The nearest ATM is located in the Gulf filling station in Lanner. Redruth, Penryn and Falmouth are all within easy reach and have the usual range of for High street banks. If you don’t feel like cooking, the fish and chip shop in Lanner is fantastic, and Portreath Bakery (also in Lanner) sells amazing (bona fide!) Cornish pasties and other goodies. And of course being in the countryside means we have some fantastic walks directly from the farm. The vehicle gate to the left of the farmhouse leads to a bridle way which in turn leads to a network of public footpaths, including the historic and scenic mining trails. For a relatively easy 30-40 minute walk, turn right out the gate and head up the hill past the farmhouse. This will eventually lead you to the road from Lanner which you can follow back to the property in circuit.
