Rustic Tented Treehouse camp and secluded bush camp, on the banks of the Mutale River, tributary to the Limpopo River. Pafuri Rivercamp, situated just outside the Pafuri Gate of the Kruger National Park, offers an authentic bushveld experience.
With no electricity or cell phone reception guests may choose from exploring, birding, walking or just relaxing in the friendly and informal atmosphere that keeps our guests coming back. Bring outdoor activity gear, like bicycles and fishing rods or a telescope to gaze at the star studded skies. Binoculars will come in handy as Pafuri Rivercamp is situated in one of South Africa’s prime birding areas. The camp’s resident bird guide is on hand to assist. Alternatively, head into the Kruger National Park for game viewing.
What we do offer is; wide open skies, peace, quiet, the freedom to explore and good service in a friendly and informal atmosphere. There is a central lapa where delicious bushcamp meals are served (please book in advance) and a small pub next to the pool selling ice cold drinks. Unwind; come live in the bush for a while!
Pafuri Rivercamp accommodates a maximum of 22 people. The campsites are tucked away to offer guests privacy and are arranged to suit groups of two to eight people. Each site has access to the Mutale River.
