In Milford on Sea, this is one of two of my three bedroom self-catering mobile homes in a quiet location on the award-winning Shorefield Country Park. (Both mobile homes are listed on Airbnb and are positioned within two minutes walk of each other). Jan's Vans are tastefully decorated and situated on the boundary edge of the park where a variety of wildlife can be seen (including pheasants and rabbits), but just a few minutes walk from all the main facilities.
Adjacent hard standing parking with space for two cars.
Comfortably accommodates six people, but one twin room has slightly narrower beds (24")) so is more suitable for children. More photos are available on my page Jansvans.
(If your chosen dates are not available, please check out New Forest Area 3 bed mobile home 2).
My guests will have access to everything within the mobile home: a double bedroom, two twin bedrooms. The New Forest National Park and the coast are on the doorstep, with the miles of golden sandy beaches of Bournemouth within a 30 minute drive. Milford on Sea plus nearby Barton on Sea, which is popular for para gliders, have pebbled/shingle beaches; small sandy areas can be exposed dependant on the tides. The nearest sandy beach is at Highcliffe, positioned east of The Cliffhanger cafe/restaurant), approx four miles away.
Shorefield Country Park has 100 acres of landscaped parkland to explore, with wooded areas and walks to the cliff top and beach or Milford village (approximately two miles away) which has a great community feel and a choice of pubs and restaurants. The views of the Isle of Wight and The Needles along this part of the coast are amazing.
Just 4 miles away is the Georgian town of Lymington, a world renowned sailing resort with a cobbled street leading to the quayside, and thriving, historic Saturday street market. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from, and the Isle of Wight ferry runs from Lymington to Yarmouth, taking approx 40 minutes.
The historic town of Christchurch with it's famous Priory is approximately 9 miles away - also a popular sailing town with lots of pubs and restaurants, and a busy Monday street market.
There is a wealth of places to visit and things to do in the beautiful countryside of the New Forest - award-winning gardens, Wildlife centres, horse riding, cycling, walking, sailing, fishing, golfing or just having a relaxing picnic surrounded by the famous New Forest Ponies.
And of course there is a lot to keep guests occupied at Shorefield and in the surrounding area.
Family attractions such as Beaulieu Motor Museum, Adventure Wonderland, Sammy Miller's Motorcycle Museum, Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World are worth a visit, too.
Driving by car is the best way to get around but there is a local bus stop within walking distance from the site (approximately half a mile); the bus can take you into Milford village or on to Lymington in one direction, or through to Mudeford, Christchurch and Bournemouth in the other.
The nearest train stations are Lymington or New Milton, both approx 4 miles away. There is a direct line to Waterloo from Brockenhurst station, approx 9 miles away.
An open top bus tours the New Forest on three differing routes during the summer season to mid September, and the bus can be boarded close to the Shorefield Reception area.
