A legjobb bárok Cape Peninsula területén

Natural Feature
“The tip of Africa, well nearly, actually it is Cape Agulhas, but Cape Point is better know as the tip of Africa! About 1 hours drive from us, you can drive along 1 coast line and return along the other. Both are very scenic, and beautiful. If you do not want to walk up, there is a vernicular to take you to the top. Best to check if operating before you go. There is a fee to enter Cape Point Nature Reserve, free for Wild Card holders”

“Boulders beach is a quaint, sheltered beach with fascinating rock formations all around. It also serves as an entry point for the penguin colony. If you're going there on a weekend, be sure to get there early to find a good spot.”

“Cape Point is in the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve within Table Mountain National Park, which forms part of the Cape Floral Region, a World Heritage Site. This is where the 2 oceans meet. Take a picnic basket or dine in the restaurant. ”

Nature Preserve
“The beautiful Boulders Beach is one of Cape Town’s most visited beaches and the only place in the world where you get close to African Penguins. Here exists a protected colony of African penguins which can be viewed in their natural habitat via wooden walkways. There is also an excellent beach for swimming nearby.”

“This is an excellent restaurant located at the harbour; it is the most expensive in Kalk Bay, but worth it. Fabulous view of the sea, and good service. Wine is quite pricey so maybe take your own and pay corkage. Make a reservation and specify that you’d like a table closest to the sea.”

“Cape of Good Hope is commonly known as Cape Point. It is a spectacular sight with towering stone cliffs, endemic fynbos, breathtaking bays, beaches and rolling green hills and valleys. The Flying Dutchman departs every three minutes and transports you from the car park to the upper lighthouse. The tram is locally made, environmentally friendly and can transport 450 people an hour. It’s a steep walk up if you choose to go the pedestrian route, but the views are so exhilarating you’ll hardly realise you’re exercising. A walk up and a Funicular trip down is the best of both worlds.”

“A stop on my Drive out to The South Recommendation KALKY'S is a must-see in Cape Town, the most authentic, scrumptious Fresh Fish & Chips experience. Enjoy divine freshly caught fish, in Kalk Bay's 17th Century harbour filled with local Fisherman Boats, take a stroll up to the lighthouse, and watch the harbour's seals play on the docks and in the water.”

With an endless view over the ocean, unpretentious yet delicious food and a jovial atmosphere constantly pouring out of the adjoining small pub, Dixies is a wonderful way to round off another perfect day spent in Glencairn. Hours 9h00 to 21h00.”

“Misty Cliffs is something of a magical little hamlet that is also a conservation village bordering on a nature reserve, a wonderful place to find peace and quiet and a spectacular setting at the best of times. The beach is not very big, but lovely for walking on, and really close to the larger and far more popular Scarborough beach, which is popular with surfers. During peak season it can become a little inundated, but nothing like the very fashionable Cape Town beaches on the Atlantic Seaboard. Take a drive along this stunning road, and if you enjoy to surf or kite board, this is a spot not to be missed.”
