Walking tour in the heart of Ottawa
I take a maximum of 4 people at a time on group tours (this limit does not apply to private tours). We will spend 2h30 together walking through the heart of Ottawa (depending on our pace). Feel free to message me if you have any questions. I can create a tour on demand if I'm available, or can change the time if you'd like it at a different time of the day (for example I can move a tour scheduled at noon to 12:30 as long as no one booked a spot yet). Not having a date in the calendar doesn't always mean i'm not available. Also if I'm available I can usually start a tour within 1.5 to 2 hours of you messaging me. Pricing: Private tours for up to 2 people are available for $120 CAD during the week. Private tours for larger groups are $45 per adult, kids from 2 to 12 years old are $5. As I said, I am happy to accommodate groups larger than 4 people, just let me know before booking to arrange. Mushroom & Wild Plant Edibles Hike - Haliburton Highlands
Our outdoor workshop takes place during a rejuvenating 4 hour nature hike on the trails of a 400 acre conservatory gem with flora ranging from old-growth forest to seasonal food plants. We will uncover new worlds of uncultivable, wild edible & medicinal plants in their natural forest state. We seek a multitude of delicious edibles (when in season) such as Yellow Chanterelles, Black Trumpet and Cinnabar Chanterelles, Hedgehogs, Boletes, Oysters and my personal favorite - Lobster Mushrooms. Growth is weather and seasonal dependent. You will learn to identify these and other seasonal edibles such as specific growth edible mushrooms, and will be introduced to spore printing. For edible and medicinal plants we will talk about identification, herbal actions , processes and recipes that will stock your natural medicine cabinet or infuse your foods with delicious flavors. In the spirit of respect for the bio-system we will explore, you will be introduced to ethical harvesting, long term sustainability and propagation for future generations.

Scenic coastal tour in an expedition Zodiac - Lunenburg
Are you a road-less-travelled kind of person? Would you like to experience a beautiful, less touristy part of Nova Scotia? Join us for a 2-hour coastal tour through Tanner's Pass and Lunenburg's back passage — a pristine part of the Atlantic Ocean. Our tour is in a professional, 19-foot Zodiac MilPro HD. These popular vessels are the black, inflatable boats you find on expedition ships around the world. They're also the boats we operate as photographers and guides in Antarctica and the Canadian sub-arctic. So what will we see? It is common to see numerous seals, osprey, great blue herons, various sea birds, mink, and deer as we Explore the South Shore. We’ll also talk about flora and geology as we cruise the area. It truly is one of the prettiest parts of Nova Scotia! There are two things we cannot control; wildlife and weather. That said, we keep a close eye on marine weather forecasts and if we have any safety concerns, we will reach out asap. We operate rain or shine so please be prepared to get at least a little wet. We’re not whitewater rafting, but there’s still a very good chance water will come over the bow. Please contact us if you have any questions at all!

Intro to Pottery wheel
With guided, professional instruction, you'll have a fun and creative time making an item out of clay on a pottery wheel. I will show you how to work with the clay, get it ready for the wheel, center it, and eventually start shaping. Usually students can make either a small bowl, plate, mug or vase on their first try. You will get up to 30 minutes of time on the wheel which is plenty to create one item, and then you can add accents to your piece i.e. handle and you'll get to handbuild for the remainder of the time (add accents to your piece). You can take the pottery home with you the same day you make them, or—if you'd like—I can fire your work, glaze it, and ship it to you for a small fee. I also offer other experiences: canvas painting, glass fusing, hand building with clay, mosaics, glow in the dark painting, pottery painting, silkscreening. ***Drop me a note if you'd like alternate time for your appointment.****
