What an amazing and perfect trip, I cannot recommend this place enough!!!The house was everything and more than we expected. You can feel the postive, homely and loving atmosphere in this cozy house with many beautiful candels and handmade craft by Regina and Jazmin, our double room was super cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including use the kitchen free. Regina and Jazmin were excellent host, They are sweet, warm, and make you feel like you are one of their family, It was such an amazing experience like a home far from home. We not only got the X'mas gift from Jazmin, the day we leaving, Regina even give us a lift to train station. We would highly recommend this beautiful place to stay and will be back to stay again:) Dear Regina & Jazmin Thank you so much for everything, love
Regina, was a great host felt really welcomed by herself and daughter. Loved are stay, was confortable and was really well priced. Defiantly going to stay again and will recommend to everyone, thanks for your hospitality. Many Thanks Christian & Sophie :D
Regina is a lovely and welcoming host, great communicator during your trip. Her home is lovely and clean, the room spacious. She also offers access to the kitchen (good selection of breakfast opts) and living space. The house is not in a clearly visible location from the street, especially if arriving at night. BUT Regina is an accessible call away to wave you in. Not a complaint, but a heads up: the house is located a good walk from the city center uphill, so take Regina's offer of a lift if you're not keen on walking. I would stay with her again, because of the friendliness and quiet neighborhood.
nice place to stay ,nice host
Cosy and comfortable room, friendly host.
We had a lovely 1 night stay at Regina's place. We booked it really last minute but she was very accommodating. The place is nice, cosy and clean. There is parking on the street and a bus stop close by.
Host was nice and friendly:)
Yeah it is great experience, the host is funny and family

A wonderful B&B, perfect for a short walk to the spa and shops. Ling was very welcoming and helpful and her B&B very lovely. The room was extremely pleasant, clean and very well equipped with tea, coffee water etc. The breakfast also had a wide range of cooked or noncooked options. We went for the full english, which was delicious. Would definitely stay again.
A couples get away for one night in Bath, and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Lings beautiful house provided us with everything we needed and more. Only a 5 minute walk away from the centre of Bath it was perfectly placed. The hospitality was exceptional and we were welcomed in a friendly and warm manner. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would recommend it as the best place to stay in Bath.
I felt really comfortable and enjoyed staying at Apple Tree. Cozy room with nice bath and tea amenities, tasty breakfast and very welcoming hospitality. Thank you!
The room is so beautiful clean and comfortable, just like home. Ling is the best host that I met. She gave us a lot of useful information about our trip in Bath. I am missing her and her wonderful breakfast right now .
Ling is a wonderful host!we had a lovely stay here with well prepared breakfast and extremely comfortable room, everything is good and definitely will be first choice if we back to Bath.
The bedroom was very well-kept and the bathroom was clean and fully supplied. And breakfast was delicious! The stay is located near the center of Bath. A very pleasant experience. I wish I could've stayed another day. Thanks for having us, Ling!
Lovely place, with great rooms and breakfast and lots of complimentary extras. Location is perfect - a pleasant and very short walk across the river to the centre of Bath. The key also gets you access to excellent deals around bath - including an extra hour in the spa (on weekdays).
Ling was an excellent host, the room was beautifully laid out and we loved the little touches that Ling had laid out for us.

Ling was warm and welcoming from the outset. She was very accomodating with our dietary requirements and always keen to help if/when we needed it. Her home is cozy and very well decorated, our room was a real peaceful haven. We would not hesitate recommending her BnB to anyone looking to go to Bath. Thank you Ling!
Brilliant B and B, decorated really nicely very clear en suite. Turned up before check in and lung let us leave are bags in the room so we could get the full day out without having to wait around. The location is. Brilliant and only a few mins walk from the town centre. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Would stay again if in bath.
We had a lovely short stay in Bath with Ling, her family and beautiful cats! The location is fantastic, the boutique hotel is stunning and the rooms are wonderfully big and modern! We where warmly greeted and shown to our room. We had off street parking which was really handy as we where a 2 min walk from the main city centre of Bath! We had a lovely meal in Bills last night and took a slow walk home. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic. Lots to choose from and again, Ling was a great host. We where able to leave the car and go back in to town after we left, and headed back to London. We will be back! Highly recommended!! - thanks again for a great stay :) - Karen and Jack xx
Ling is a super friendly host and we've had a great time here during our stay here in bath. The house located very close to the city centre and is well worth the price:) I would go for Ling's house next time I travel here:)
Wonderful stay, lovely breakfast and very close to the city centre. Thank you! Regards, Jimmy

Fantastic host and wonderful rooms. The shower is so good I didn't want to get out! Only five minutes walk into the centre and breakfast was lovely. Thank you so much, we will be back to stay again.
Ling and her husband are absolutely great hosts! From the moment we stepped in this beautiful guest house they made us feeling very welcomed and we were provided with all the informations that we needed to visit Bath. The Location is just perfect, ten minutes walking from the station and all the sights. Our room was lovely, beautifully decorated and spotless clean. Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and served with a smile which really made our day extra special! We would not hesitate to come back and recommend it to our friend!
The Apple Tree guesthouse is in a fantastic location, just 5 mins from the canal and bath city centre. The rooms are clean and comfy with great facilities. Ling is a great host and was helpful when dealing with our questions. She even gave me veggie sausages with my breakfast. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Amazing value for money. P.S. Try the French toast!!
Very nice and clean room~ Ling is so kind~
The Apple Tree B&B is the nicest B&B I've ever stayed at. Apple Tree is in a great location, away from the City centre but only 10 minutes walk to all the sights of Bath. Ling is a fantastic host, very warm and welcoming and full of information about beautiful Bath. She is very accommodating and generous and went out of her way to make us both feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble and the added touches such as chocolates for Valentines Day and a large bowl of fruit at the entrance underline Ling's commitment to making Apple Tree a wonderful B&B. Our room was lovely, light and airy, and with beautiful linen, a very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and everything needed to make for a memorable stay. Breakfasts were really excellent, and Ling is very willing to provide dishes not on the menu. She is a great cook. I would recommend Apple Tree B&B unreservedly as fabulous place to stay when visiting Bath. We'll certainly be back!
Fantastic Great location for town and walks, food excellent, Ling made us feel very welcome everything very clean. There are no negatives or could be better if's.
Top place to stay in Bath. Ling is a really nice host. Very helpful if you have any questions. Good breakfast, room and location!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Garden Room. Tony and Jane were very accommodating and the room itself was amazing. Would highly recommend. We had a couple of nights in Bath after our stay but fully wished we had stayed longer at the Garden Room. Highly recommended!
My boyfriend and I had a fantastic mini break at Tony and Janes garden cottage! The accommodation exceeded expectations and was perfect as allowed us easy access to Bath but also to experience the countryside and quiet - best of both :-) Tony and Jane were very accommodating and picked us up from the bus station on our first night as we were arriving in the dark! They also made themselves available to us if we needed anything! It was a fantastic stay and we would definitely go back in the future! Thanks Tony and Jane for making my boyfriends and my first trip to Bath such a success :-)
This was such a cute place just outside the City of Bath. It was quiet and cozy. Hospitality was top of the line.
It was so good we stayed a extra night! Thanks to Tony & Jane for accepting our very late addition to our holiday! Hopefully see you next year..
A quiet place of rest in the countryside of England. Felt very welcomed by our hosts and was given total privacy. At the end of a busy day sightseeing, it was nice to return back to the cottage for complete rest and solitude.
The Garden House is really lovely! There are many details that make your stay very comfortable. Although the kitchen is not really big, you can cook whole meals in it. When we stayed at Tony's and Jane's place the weather was not the best, but I can imagine that it is great to sit in the beautiful garden when the weather is nice.
Tony and Jane were helpful and friendly hosts, a pleasure to deal with. The cabin was just as pictured and a very clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable that I have ever slept in. Beautiful garden outlook. The location suited me perfectly as a base for touring the south-west. Close to Bath with all that it offers but with the benefits of being in a village. I would recommend the Garden Room with Tony and Jane as hosts to anyone.
We stayed for a week in the Garden room in August. The best place we could have chosen to stay around Bath and in England. The house is very comfortable, tasty decorated, with a kitchen, a hob, a fridge, microwave and beautiful furniture. The hosts provide you with very good DVDS and They also gave us a breakfast and welcome pack, which is a plus. The bed is extremely comfortable. We really felt at home and we even thought about moving there for a long time :) The garden is lovely and you can enjoy birds and wildlife. The bus stop is at ten minutes walk and there are frequent buses to Bath and Wells. But among everything, the comfty and nice house, the best for us has been getting to know such a stunning and wonderful people as Tony and Jane. Sometimes you just meet people and some other times, not so often, you meet somebody that gets under your skin, like Tony and Jane has got in ours. We Highly recommend this place to anyone. XXX

We had a wonderful weekend at the Manor House with three generations of our family for my mum's significant birthday. My toddler enjoyed everything as much as my mum! The house was spotless for our arrival, with lamps on, fires ready to be lit in the hearths and the table laid for dinner. It's all very well equipped and loads of interesting little nooks and crannies. Beth was very informative in the weeks leading up to our arrival and it was great to meet the helpful and friendly housekeeper Charlie as well. Very highly recommended - we hope to be able to come back one day.
The Manor House worked fantastically well for us as a venue for my husband's birthday. The house was very warm and welcoming and had a great atmosphere. The location was great as we could go straight out for a walk but it was also really close to Bath. Beth was very helpful in answering all our questions before we turned up which really helped with our organisation of the weekend. A great place for a family and friends weekend!
What an amazing house! I recently rented the Medieval Manor House out for my sister in laws Hen Party and we had the most wonderful time...games in the snug, dinner and wine tasting in the huge dining room, champagne afternoon tea in the conservatory and cocktail making in the kitchen! All the guests left very happy and the Hen herself had the best send off possible. I would thoroughly recommend Beth's beautiful house, it was the perfect venue and great location for our weekend! Thank you!
We had an absolutely fantastic weekend at the Manor House! There was a group of 12 of us for my sister's hen weekend - everyone was suitably wowed by the house on arrival (it is so beautiful with the weeping willow outside!) Luckily we had great weather, and had a lovely candlelit dinner in the conservatory on the first night. The sitting room is a great space for large groups, loads of comfy sofas that fit in everyone. All the bedrooms were fantastic, and it was so helpful that they all had ensuite bathrooms. Great kitchen as well, massive so plenty of space to cook for large numbers! Beth was a fab host, very quick to respond to all questions. My sister (and all guests) had an amazing time, I was so impressed by the Manor House and would 100% recommend (and would definitely book again in the future). Such a unique and beautiful properly, and felt so warm and homely inside.
The Manor House was absolutely beautiful and perfect for a relaxing weekend. Beth was great in the run up to the booking and answered all of my questions. The housekeeper popped in during our stay and kindly helped me with a query. She was very helpful! It was a wonderful experience and everyone in the party commented on how wonderful the house was. Thank you.
We had an amazing weekend and fell in love with the Manor House. It was more beautiful than the listing could describe. Every bedroom was spacious with en suites, the huge lounge perfect for relaxing and dancing and we enjoyed a candlelit dinner in the Victorian conservatory. Beth was so helpful and responded to every query. Would highly recommend.
The Manor House is simply beautiful. We had a fantastic stay and would have loved to have stayed longer than just 2 nights. Really appreciated all the effort that had been made to set the table for our dinner and to make the house so comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here!
The house is absolutely stunning with excellent facilities as well as being only 10 minutes from the centre of Bath. Beth was extremely friendly and helpful. Our stay was a real pleasure.

This is the perfect little house to stay in while exploring beautiful Bath. The grade II listed brew house is bright & spacious, having been carefully renovated (July 2015) to a high standard. It is conveniently located, only 15min walk from central Georgian Bath and great for walks along the nearby picturesque river and canal. The Brew House is a recently converted, former brew house, built in 1795 to supply beer to the main house. Situated on a quiet road, whilst being only 15 mins walk from the centre of Bath. It is a lovely, bright and airy house, decorated in a contemporary, simple, yet unique style. The upper floor, accessed from the street, with high ceilings and exposed oak beams consists of a paneled lobby and open plan kitchen / dining / living space. It is furnished with a four seater dining table and cozy corner sofa and TV. The brand new kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, oven, induction hob, fridge- freezer. The giant fire place is a feature in its own right. Downstairs is the main bedroom with a king size bed and a smaller bedroom with a standard double bed. They have beautiful painted wooden floors. Between the bedrooms is the stylish shower room, with white tiled walls and black slate floor. The whole house is well insulated with new double glazed windows and high spec central heating. The House has been lovingly rebuilt and fitted out in a great mix of old and new, by its craftsman owner. We live next door and are happy to offer recommendations for things to do, or leave you in peace ! The house is ideal for those wishing to exlore beautiful Bath, its stunning countryside and historic architecture and museums. The River Avon and the Kennet & Avon Canal are very nearby. The city also is full of fantastic shops and restaurants. There is free on-street car parking, and a bus service to and from the city centre nearby. Up the road there is a convenience store and down the road is a big super market. Larkhall village is only a short walk away and offers a wonderful deli, green grocers, butchers and a small super market. Walk, cycle, bus, train, taxi, car - your choice. The stairs are quite steep, and we don't have child's stair gates.bővebben
From the moment we got our keys to the moment we left everything was impeccable from Tina and Richard. They pulled out extra stops with all their additional maps and recommendations which left us feeling that we knew where to go and what to see. The apartment itself was lovely, probably just right for up to 3 people as it's quite diddy, but for us it was perfect! Thank you very much!
A great stay in a great apartment. Clean, tidy and with all the comforts required. On quite a steep hill, but there is a Morrison's right at the bottom. I would definitely be keen to stay here again.
Thank you to Tina and Richard for allowing us to stay at the beautiful Brew House. The house is immaculately clean, very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, so that you have cook in or eat out break. We had a wonderfully relaxed four days. Ann, Paul and Rachel x
Super Ferienwohnung! Wir waren zu dritt (3 Studenten) bei Tina und Richard und es war sehr entspannt und super schön. Es ist ein bisschen auf einem Hügel gelegen, und bis ins Zentrum läuft man schon etwa eine halbe Stunde.
Thankyou, Tina & Richard for providing a lovely apartment to stay, we had a really good time. beautifully decorated & very comfortable. We hope to visit again because we loved the area & there is lots more we want to see.
The Brew House description is spot on - it's a glorious place, very light, cosy and well equipped. Parking was on street but we never had a problem finding a space and just left the car there and walked to the centre of Bath which is only 10/15 minutes away. Richard was on hand to provide keys and give us a quick tour of the place - he was welcoming and made it clear that if we had any queries at all we mustn't hesitate to call round. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Brew House highly.
first of all the Brew house is absolutely stunning, the mixture of modern furniture and the old architecture is beautiful. This lovely accommodation is also very close to beautiful Bath. We would definitely recommend it !
Hi Richard and Tina, thank you so much for letting us stay with you. Your flat is immaculate and it was a pleasure to spend the weekend here. Hope to visit again soon.

Quietly situated in the small Somerset village of Holcombe, The Cottage is the perfect country getaway. We are 30 minutes south of Bath. Perfect for touring the South West. Family friendly. A hearty farmhouse breakfast is provided of bacon, sausages, eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes. The cosy and well-equipped cottage has been furbished to a high standard. The beautifully decorated bedroom, with an ensuite wet room, offers a stylish and comfortable night’s rest. Fresh linen and towels are included. The open-plan downstairs (lounge/kitchen/diner) is bright and airy with TV, DVD, wifi, ipod station and comfortable sofa that can be opened into a double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a three-ring hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. The living area opens out onto a private garden and patio with an outdoor fire, perfect for long summer evenings as it catches the last of the sun. There is also a secure storage area to keep bikes. Drying of wet suits is also offered. Breakfast will be served by me every morning from 9am-11am. The Cottage’s central location makes an ideal base for touring the South West, with Bath, Wells and Cheddar Gorge all on your doorstep. Walks and bike rides are definitely a must as the surrounding countryside is breath taking, especially during spring with the daffodils blooming. We can also offer guided walks in our area. Bath is a short car journey away with its literature and music festivals. The Thermae Bath Spa is a wonderful and relaxing way to spend an afternoon. This historic city has many stunning places to visit including the crescents, the Assembly Rooms and Prior Park gardens (where Pride and Prejudice was filmed). The smallest English city of Well is also a short trip away. The cathedral is breath-taking and hosts many delightful concerts. There is also a weekly market with stalls filled with local produce and quirky jewellery. There are several notable National Trust properties in this area: Lytes Cary, Montecute House and Stourhead to name but a few. There are golf courses in Bath and Wells. Frome is a charming town filled with snug tearooms and eccentric little vintage shops. Babington House, a private members house, is just 8miles away and is perfect for tea on the lawn or drinks at their stunning bar. The Mulbury factory shop and Kilver Court retail outlet is just outside Shepton Mallet. The Glastonbury tor is a definite for anyone visiting the area, as is the town itself. There is plenty for kids to do as well. Longleat is just down the road and is always popular. Farleigh Hungerfod has one of the country’s last swimming clubs; wild swimming in the river is perfect for those summer months. The castle is also incredibly exciting. Nunney also has a beautiful castle that the kids are free to run around in. Cheddar Gorge is incredible fun with tours through the caves and rock-climbing for the more adventurous among us. Tennis courts can be found just a short distance away in Writhlington. There are also two charming pubs within walking distance, as is the local village shop. We are very rural so it is best to have a car. There is a limited bus service from the village. bővebben
Claire is the loveliest person ever - from the very first moment you meet her to the very last second. Upon arrival, she greeted us with the most delicious cake, and every morning she made us the most filling breakfast. The place is lovely, warm and extremely clean. It's also very accessible to the nearby pubs and a 20min drive to Bath. I could not recommend this place and Claire enough.
Claire's place is very homely with plenty of space and everything you need. Claire has lots of ideas for things to do in the area, and we absolutely enjoyed them all! Ohh and the English breakfast was delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised with a freshly baked cake!
Claire was a fantastic host! Our only regret is that we didn't plan a longer stay. We were greeted by Boris her sweet dog and a freshly baked apple cake and a bowl of fruit. She gave me a lift to the next village to pick up some beverages and take out since everything in Holcombe was closed. The property and accommodations are wonderful and I can not say enough about the delicious English breakfast she made for us each day. She loaned us her maps and helped us plan our adventures in the area. We hope to get back someday!!!
A fantastic cottage with all the mod cons to make it a very comfortable stay. My wife and I stayed with our 2 daughters and found it very spacious. Claire is a great Hostess that really goes the extra mile to make sure your stay is full of activity. Her knowledge of the area is very good and her advice is plentiful and generous, whether you want to visit quaint villages, trek the countryside or visit all the wonderful attraction parks in the area. Our kids loved Claire and she made sure they never had a dull moment. There is much to do and we look forward to going back for another stay.
An absolutely wonderful place to stay. The lovely cottage is set in the most idyllic spot, in the countryside but walking distance to an excellent pub! Claire was the most welcoming of hosts, homemade cake on arrival, dinner recommendations, and info on where to go in the area ... She even made a dinner reservation for us and then drove us to the pub! The full English breakfast each morning was a massive plus, including freshly picked raspberries from the garden. Can't recommend this place enough, we will definitely be going back!
We returned Sunday evening from an amazing weekend in Somerset celebrating my dads 60th. Communications with Claire before arriving were efficient and informative, advising us what to look up and book in advice of our stay which was really helpful. We arrived Friday evening to the beautiful village in which the cottage in set, and were wowed by the cottage which is as shown in the photos. It has everything you need and more which Claire had ensured, and we were given all the information needed for our cottage stay. We were so impressed with the delicious home baked cake Claire had made us, and a bottle of champagne since it was a birthday trip. Unfortunately Claire's husband was very unwell during our stay so she was unable to provide a cooked breakfast for us which she apologised profusely for and instead provided everything we needed and more for a huge continental breakfast: pastries, baked bread, yoghurts, fruit, cheeses, cold meats, and cereals etc which was a lovely touch. All the amenities were in full working order and the only thing we struggled with was putting back the sofa bed from a bed to sofa each morning as it was quite difficult to push in. It was fairly comfortable but the bed in the one bedroom was very comfortable. The garden area was gorgeous and we were lucky enough to see two deers which were (unfortunately) eating flowers in Claire's garden one morning! Claire's recommendation of places to visit were brilliant and the city of Wells around 25 minutes away is an absolute must see, such a beautiful place. All in all we loved our stay, Claire was the best host we could have asked for and we will definitely be back to stay again! Definitely recommend!
This property is immaculate homely and has everything you need for a short stay in Bath. But the real gem in the crown is the host Claire. Warm kind and caring, a lovely coffee cake on arrival Claire made my time away from home due to work commitments an absolute pleasure. Nothing too much trouble and the gift of straggling privacy with company. I would recommend this property I travel a lot and this is one of the best. Note that the property is rural and night on impossible to get a phone signal but Wi-Fi works perfectly.
Fabulous private, self contained accommodation. Claire has provided everything you need for a great stay. It's all very clean and well thought out. I would highly recommend.

A fabulously stylish, centrally located one bedroom large 1st floor apartment. A high ceilinged sumptuous interior designed space built in 1789 for Samuel Ward, Salt Merchant of Bath. It's the perfect base for a romantic indulgent weekend away. With far reaching views over the hills of Bath & Prior Park from the luxury super king size bedroom at the rear of the apartment, and views up and down the Grandeur of Great Pulteney Street from the front, a stay in The Salt Merchant's will be a memorable few days away. The apartment is on the whole first floor of our house. There is a shared front door onto the stone cantilevered staircase and then your own private front door into the apartment. We will leave keys for you within the key box at the front door, but do not want to interfere with your privacy unless you need us. We live in the Garden Flat below The Salt Merchant's, so can be on hand if you have any problems or want any advice to make the most out of your stay in Bath. Great Pulteney Street is arguably the grandest Georgian street in Bath and only a 5 minute level stroll from Central Bath. Bath Spa train station is only a 10 minute walk or a 5 minute & £5 taxi ride from The Salt Merchant's. We are also on a bus route as well as on the open top bus route. There is on road parking outside the apartment, a car parking permit is included in your nightly charge. Bristol Airport is also only 50 minutes away. The second bed is a large sofa bed in the living room that can be packed away during the day. The shower room is accessed through the main bedroom.bővebben
Had an absolutely fabulous weekend in this apartment. Really cozy flat, bed comfy and bathroom was lovely. I stayed here with my partner while she looked for a place for us to buy and while I had an introductory week on my Masters course at the uni of Bath. It's in a great location for travel around the city and the kitchen was a nice touch, allowing me to easily cook dinner a couple of nights when I didn't fancy going out. Thank you Louise!
This really is a great place to stay. Louise made everything extremely easy and was contactable and helpful. The flat itself is immaculate, modern, open and comfortable with a fantastic view over the rugby club and surrounding hills. The location couldn't be better and the on street parking a real plus given parking is difficult in Bath. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
I could not recommend The Salt Merchant's more highly. The perfect AirBnB experience. A beautiful flat in an ideal spot and a great host.
The apartment is in a great position within walking distance to central Bath. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Thank you!
Whoever books to stay here will not be disappointed. The location of the flat is unbeatable being within 3mins walk of all Bath has to offer and the flat itself has everything you could ever need. It's been decorated to a very high standard and beats any hotel I've ever stayed in. Having a parking permit for the duration of the stay means you never have to worry about your car either. Best experience I've ever had. Louise was an amazing host giving detailed instructions before arrival of the check in process and all Bath has to offer. She was also on hand to answer any questions during the stay.
We felt like Lords and we slept like Kings :) This apartement's interior is a fabulous medley of classicism and moderminsm. From the bedroom it almost feels like looking into a royal country residence and not like being in a City. The phenomenal location of Great Pulteney Street invited us many times to stroll and explore the historic city center. In addition, the apartment does not miss out on any item you need for self-catering. Thanks Louise, we'll be back someday :)
We have a very pleasant journey in Bath and the flat is gorgeous ! I strongly recommand this accommodation if you want to visit Bath and stay in a very comfy and beautiful flat.
Excellent place and great location. We would return again. Thanks for having us Louise.

I try to be present to welcome guests, however this is not always possible due to work commitments but keys will be available on your arrival. Oldfield Park is a residential neighbourhood located a short distance south of the city centre. The house is a few streets away from Moorland Road, a vibrant local shopping street which has a good mix of shops including Sainsbury's Local open until 11pm, a family butcher, bakery, green grocer and at the far end on Shaftesbury Road there is the Scala Co-Operative, a larger supermarket. There is also a launderette, dry cleaners, two beauty salons, nail salon, two hairdressers, Lloyds and Nat West banks, a chemist, a fantastic Indian called the Panahar, as well as other takeaways and cafes, my favourite being the Velo Lounge, which has a varied menu and great coffee. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the city centre from the house, which is approximately 1.5 miles. There are no parking charges or permits required for this part of Oldfield Park. You can leave your car anywhere outside the house or the surrounding streets. Oldfield Park train station is just over 5 minutes walk from the house - this is the next station west of Bath Spa station. It takes 15 minutes to get to Bristol Temple Meads from Oldfield Park should you wish to explore Bristol. The no. 10 bus stops at the corner of Moorland Road and Livingstone Road, a few minutes walk from the house. It travels directly to the city centre and, depending on the time of day, takes around 10 minutes and runs every 10/15 minutes up to 11.30pm. A taxi into the city centre costs approximately £7.00. There are some basics in the kitchen to keep you going including a selection of cereals, bread, croissants, jam, milk, tea and coffee. I provide bed linen and towels and there is also a hairdryer, ironing board and iron for guests' use. I try to be flexible with check in and check out times where possible, but as a rule I need to keep to the following times to allow for cleaning: Check in from 3.00pm / Check out by 11.00am. You can have access between 11.00am - 3.00pm to drop off bags, but I will need an approximate arrival time to ensure I am at the house. The price is for the whole house, for up to 4 people. It is not possible to accommodate more than 4 people, sorry.bővebben
What a delight to be able to stay in Paula's terrace house. The house was exactly as illustrated, immaculate and beautifully and tastefully presented. The house contained everything we needed and more! We very much appreciated the very thoughtful extras, such as bread, milk, etc to welcome us and for ease of our arrival in Bath. Paula was a very attentive host, making herself available for any questions. The location of the house is perfect for a very easy 15-20 minute casual walk into central Bath thereby avoiding the need to drive or use public transport or taxis. The terrace is in a very quiet neighbourhood. We unhesitatingly recommend Paula as a wonderful host and her terrace as a beautiful and extremely comfortable place to stay.
A really beautifully furnished and very comfortable two bedroom house. I stayed here with my wife and 1 year old and it provided perfect accommodation for us while we explored Bath and the Cotswolds. It's 5-10 minutes to the centre of Bath in a car so very conveniently located. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful.
It's so simple to come to the house with all the detailed description of the facilities and wifi code.
We had a wonderful experience at Paula's home. It was lovely, peaceful and exactly as billed. In addition, she was a helpful and proactive host. I only wish we would have had more time to spend in this location!
This apartment is beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Our experience could not be faulted. Many thanks Paula!
Beautifully finished house with everything needed for a relaxing home away from home. Would highly recommend. Paula was also an excellent and attentive host.
We enjoyed our stay at Paula's place during our visit in Bath. The house is extremely well decorated and is a great location, with walking distance to local shops and transport, and still within walking distance to the main centre of Bath. We will happily stay again next time we find ourselves in Bath.
Wonderful place to stay and explore Bath! Paula's home is lovely - fantastic Kitchen with beautiful views accross to the town.

A rare opportunity to stay in a huge first floor period apartment in one of England's most beautiful cities. Beautifully restored by us and with easy access to the city centre and countryside beyond. The location: The apartment is extremely well located for visitors wanting to explore the historic city of Bath and the surrounding countryside. The centre of Bath is just a 15 minute level walk via the artisan quarter of Walcot Street or the Paragon. The apartment also benefits from easy access to the stunning Kennet and Avon canal, river and countryside which can be explored via a meadow at the rear of the apartment. Locally there are a number of great gastro pubs including our favourite the award winning King William (Bath best gastro pub) and One Beaufort. Morrison's supermarket is just down the road. We provide our own Map of Bath with all our favourite places to eat and drink. The apartment: Occupying the whole first floor of a listed Georgian build dating back to 1750 the apartment is extremely spacious and has been newly restored in a sympathetic period manner with contemporary detailing that respect the grade 2 listed status of the building. The apartment benefits from a huge living room with three large bay windows looking out over the Avon valley with views of central bath one side and the countryside the other. The semi circular balcony offer stunning panoramic view of bath and the surrounding countryside, and makes an ideal place for sundowners on a summers evening. The kitchen is located on one side of the living room and is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a feast when you tire of the many fantastic cafes, bars and restaurants in Bath. A separate king bedroom and newly refurbished shower room is located off the central hallway. We will provide you with all you need for a comfortable stay including, Led TV with apple TV and Netflix, wireless broadband, Stereo with iPod dock, and of course Egyptian cotton bedding and towels. The apartment is self-catering but to help you get settled in we provide some home-made bread, cereals and a selection of teas, coffee, milk, butter and jams. All facilities We will arrange a time to meet and greet you at the apartment, and we are always available by telephone or in person if required. Places to eat and drink: We have created a map with our very own top ten favourite places to eat, drink and hangout in the centre of Bath. If you don’t have enough energy for town, we recommend our local pub the King William on London Road for drinks and award winning food. Your other local choice is The Beaufort (other direction along London Road) which also serves food and drinks. Local amenities: Morrison’s supermarket and 24 hour cash machine is a 2 minute walk down London Road towards town (turn left outside the apartment). There is also a petrol garage / convenience store further down London Road on the right. Larkhall: (a ‘village’ centre in Bath) containing among other things, two convenience stores (McColl’s and Co-op), a butchers, greengrocers, deli, pub and even a theatre, is just a 5 minute walk away (turn right outside the apartment, cross the road, take the second left up St Saviour’s Road and keep going until you reach Larkhall). Things to see and do: There are loads of things to keep you occupied during your time in Bath; historic sites, buildings, parks and monuments, museums, art galleries, theatres, shops, afternoon tea, walks, boating, bike riding, day trips to Stonehenge, Avebury and the Cotswolds and of course, the Thermae Bath Spa. We have provided some travel books and leaflets to inspire you but if you would like any more information about activities available in Bath the tourist information centre near Bath Abbey is very helpful. Alternatively, if you would like some personal recommendations from us, please feel free to give us a ring (contact details below). If you want to get out of the city and explore the surrounding countryside, the Kennet and Avon canal can be explored via the meadow at the rear of the apartment. To reach the canal, turn left outside the front door, take the first left through a gap in the houses to reach the meadow, walk diagonally left across the field, cross the river, go under the railway and up the slope to the canal. When you get to the canal we recommend walking in the direction towards Bradford on Avon (so the canal will be on your right hand side). After about 1.5 miles you reach a pub called The George. Taxi: If your feet get tired we recommend the local taxi firm ‘V cars’ (phone number hidden)). This Flat is a Gorgeous Location for 2 Adults. Sorry no children, no groups, no pets.bővebben
I think we were maybe spoilt as although we know Bath very well we were Airbnb virgins...and chose to stay here rather than in a hotel for our daughters graduation. Fantastic accommodation with a beautiful reception room, all very well presented with warm welcome from Daniel. Personal touches like scrabble board welcome, teacups ready on the table, along with tasty homemade welcome pack. Everything very stylish and clean-absolutely nothing to criticise- We hope to return again very soon.
Great experience - we were warmly welcomed and left with a list of recommended places to visit. The apartment was stunning and clean, the bed was very comfortable and it was only a short distance from the town centre. Would definitely stay here again.
Ana and Daniel were the loveliest hosts with the most beautiful apartment! The views were spectacular and their home could not be any more charming. It was conveniently located within walking distance from the town center yet was nice and quiet at night. They were the sweetest hosts and left lots of recommendations of things to do/places to eat and even provided complimentary homemade bread and coffee/tea for breakfast. We loved our experience and would highly recommend staying here. Enjoy!
Love this apartment! It's beautiful and has lots of character. It's exactly as shown in pictures, and perfect for a short stay in Bath. Communication in the run up to our stay was easy and helpful. Daniel greeted us on arrival and provided us with useful information about the apartment and where to eat and drink nearby. Welcome touches were lovely - including the message on the scrabble board and homemade bread for breakfast. I highly recommend and would definitely return given the chance.
Daniel is a delightful and informative host. He and Anna have an amazing flat in Bath. Fabulous views and well set up. Leave the car at the front door and walk. Daniel and Anna have curated a sampling of Bath's highlights - we enjoyed it all and I was very pleased I extended our stay.
We loved this apartment, it is beautiful, spacious, comfortable and convenient. Daniel welcomed us and showed us all we needed to know, with information, home made bread and other lovely provisions. It was good to have Apple TV. The bed was so comfortable and the room was quiet. The location is in such a lovely part of the city with independent shops, so walking in to Bath (which is on the level for the whole way) is an interesting short journey. It's also so close to Morrisons if needed. We had read the good comments about King William pub nearby, we ate there (pre-booked) and it was perfect, food, service, beer and atmosphere. Really was a superb vacation. Thank you.
Daniel welcomed us to this lovely apartment which is around 20 mins walk from the centre of Bath. Everything was as nice as described and we had everything we needed in the apartment to ensure a great break. Parking could have been s little difficult but Daniel had kindly reserved a space for us right outside the apartment. I would highly recommend a stay here. We would lovd to visit again.
18 Kensington Place is nothing short of a joy to stay in. Daniel met us, had saved us a parking space, and introduced us to his beautiful apartment. The flat itself has everything you could need; it's spacious, decorated and furnished to a really high standard, and just allows you to relax and enjoy Bath. Bath itself is a lovely place to explore and the flat is a 10-15 amble into the centre of town. We loved it and weren't short of things to visit or do. To add to that, Daniel and Anna had produced a really useful and helpful guide of ideas for places to eat and drink and we tried several. Highlights included the local pub and a small cafe called Same Same But Different. The homemade bread waiting at the apartment when we arrived only added to the glorious food on offer in Bath. Go! Stay at 18 Kensington Place but leave me a few days in April 2017 because I have to go back.

Little Orchard is a beautiful Bath stone building which was once the potting sheds and outbuildings for The Orchard. It is a large airy space with a huge cosy bed, woodburner, bath and kitchen area. A perfect retreat 20 minutes from Bath! The Space Little Orchard was converted from what were originally gardeners' potting sheds and outbuildings. It is separate from our house, across our gravelled driveway. It has changed greatly over 200 years and is now a large airy barn style room with a separate bathroom with bath and shower over. There is a small kitchen area with breakfast bar, sink, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle and all you need to make breakfast or simple meals. There is also an electric one ring hotplate for crispy bacon or fried eggs! If you would like a welcome pack we can provide cereal, croissants, juice and other breakfast basics for two people at an additional cost of £10. In the main room there is a zip and link super king-sized bed which can be split into two singles. We have a travel cot for small visitors, and can provide fold up beds for small children although floor space is quite limited. The space is not really suitable for 3 adults unless you are all very friendly! We have just installed a lovely woodburner, and will provide logs and kindling. Little Orchard has its own entrance and off road parking space so you can come and go as you wish. There is an outdoor seating area for al fresco breakfasts, and a rustic seat outside the front door. There is a television, DVD player and wi-fi. There is also a bookcase full of books for cosy evenings by the fire. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are all provided. I also provide tea, coffee, and milk. There are two fitted thermostatically controlled electric convector heaters in the main room, a fan heater and heated towel rail in the bathroom and the woodburner. I have just fitted lovely new white blinds which help with a longer lie-in in the mornings! NB You can book for one night apart from Fridays and Saturdays when there is a 2 night minimum stay. Guest Access You can check in any time after 3pm, and please could you be on your way by 10am? I am flexible on timings if I don't have any other bookings so please ask. Little Orchard is totally self contained. You have your own outdoor seating area in the summer with chairs and table and a bench outside the front door. There are two steps up to the front door but otherwise it is all on one level. Interaction with Guests We love to meet our guests and help you to enjoy this lovely part of the world but Little Orchard is your own separate space. You can pop in and out as you please and we are usually on hand if you have any questions. There is an info pack with recommendations for things to do but new restaurants and cafes are opening all the time so do ask me if you want a recommendation for a special meal. The Neighbourhood Little Orchard is set in lovely countryside but within easy reach of a multitude of attractions. You will wake up to the birds singing, and we are situated in a Conservation Area. Bathford is built on Roman remains, it is known as 'the walled village', and in the woods at the top of the lane you can find the remains of the stone quarries that supplied Bath with its beautiful stone. There are some lovely walks from the cottage, and lots of pubs and cafes to visit. One of our favourites is the Mill at Bathampton, by the river. You can get a boat from here into Bath as well. Check the Pulteney Princess for times and cost. There are two pubs in the village - one at the bottom - the Crown Inn - and one at the top. The village shop is open 7 days a week and is a co-operative run by people who live in the village. It has a cafe, and stocks a good range of basics as well as fresh bread and croissants and local produce. The cafe does a mean fried breakfast on a Saturday! There are two golf courses within 3 miles - Kingsdown Golf Club and Cumberwell Golf Club. You can walk down into the valley and in half an hour you will be walking on the Kennet and Avon canal at Bathampton. On most weekends and during the week in school holidays there is a lovely canal boat which serves cakes, sandwiches and coffee, or you can walk or cycle along to the Dundas Aqueduct at Limpley Stoke and hire a boat. You can also hire old 1920's and 30's restored wooden rowing boats and punts at Bathampton Mill and at the Bath Boathouse. There are also two lovely pubs in Bathampton - The Mill on the river and The George on the canal. We are just outside Bath to the East with views from the village of Little Solsbury Hill - Peter Gabriel lives near here and it was where he wrote his famous song! In Bath you are spoilt for choice with the Roman Baths, the Pump Rooms, the Royal Crescent, the Circus, loads of theatres and restaurants, Bath rugby, Thermae spa - (a rooftop pool experience not to miss, especially at night) Christmas street market, gorgeous Georgian architecture. There are festivals all year round including the famous Mozartfest in November, the literature festival, Jane Austen festival and food festivals. The Music Festival is in May, the Christmas Market around the Abbey in November/December and too many others to mention. Shopping is a joy as there are lots of independent shops and Bath is a very self-contained city. You can also explore the surrounding area into Wiltshire and Somerset. Stonehenge is an easy day trip as are Wells, Salisbury, Tetbury and the Cotswolds and Bristol. The Hauser and Wirth gallery in Bruton with its famous Piet Oudulf garden is about 40 minutes away, and has a great restaurant and exhibitions. National Trust properties in the area include Stourhead, Dyrham Park, Lacock ( Harry Potter filmed here as well as lots of period dramas such as Cranford), Prior Park Gardens , The Courts at Holt, Great Chalfield Manor (some of Wolf Hall was filmed here), and Tyntesfield near Bristol. There are some great restaurants and lots of my guests go out to The Pig at Hun street which is just West of the Bath on the way to the Chew Valley Lakes. There is also the Michelin starred Pony and Trap in Chew Magna run by Josh and Holly Eggleton. In Bath we have the famous Bertinet bakery, Richard Bertinet runs a cookery school here and has a couple of cafes selling his amazing bread and cakes. A great veggie option is Acorn Kitchen for dinner, or the Green Rocket cafe for breakfast or lunch, also Chapel Arts who do lovely homemade flatbreads. If you are vegan try Beyond the Kale in Green Park Station, open during the daytime only. Corkage in Walcot Street, as recommended by Jay Rayner!, is a lovely wine bar with daily changing tapas plates. For a curry try the Rajpoot on the famous Pulteney Bridge, and for Thai, Koh Thai Tapas in Broad Street. The best Italian in Bath is the family run Martini on George Street. There are loads of independent cafes, my favourites are Society Cafe in Kingsmead Square, and Hunter and Son in Shires Yard which also opens in the evening and sells food and craft beer too. I also love The Blue Quail deli on Pulteney Bridge, lots of lovely South African food and cakes. There are a couple of old Bath pubs you shouldn't miss. The Old Green Tree in Green Street, wood panelled and very cosy, The Star on The Paragon, no food just great beer, and The Bell on Walcot Street, bought by locals to save it from closing and a great live music venue. In Batheaston there is Gather - open Tuesday to Saturday, mostly vegetarian with lots of gluten free and great coffee and breakfasts/lunches. If you like cocktails you have to go to the Gin Bar, and The Dark Horse in Kingsmead Square. We have great theatres from the old and venerable Theatre Royal, to smaller places like the Rondo in Larkhall and The Mission Theatre. The best cinema is the Little Theatre by the Spa, there is a little bar and it has great atmosphere. On a weekend head to Green Park Station for the food market on Saturday mornings, and various vintage and antiques markets on Saturdays and Sundays. The bus stop is at the end of the lane, less than a five minute walk, and buses go into Bath every 20 minutes or so. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the centre of the city. You can drive straight down to the village from the M4, junction 20, and then leave your car here for the rest of your stay. Alternatively, arrive in Bath by train and catch the number 3 bus out to the village from the bus station, next to the train station. Make sure you get on the one with Bathford on the front! There are lots of cyclists braving our hill, and you can easily cycle down into the city on the road or the canal. There are also off-road mountain bike trails at Ashton Court in Bristol, and in the Forest of Dean. The famous 'Two Tunnels Greenway' ride is now open through the city on the old Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway linking with National Cycle Route 24. NB For guest safety there is a fire extinguisher, fire blanket, smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector in Little Orchard. If you would like a welcome pack we can provide cereal, croissants, juice and other breakfast basics at an additional cost of £10.bővebben
The cottage was beautifully presented and we were made to feel very welcome on arrival. Nice touch to have a wood burner, very cosy on a winters eve. Hope to visit beautiful Bath again soon!
Truly a 10/10 experience! Excellent accommodation with lots of home touches, such as the brownies, log burner and a handy guide to the area. It was great to have only a short bus hop into the centre of Bath, but be far enough away for a quiet relaxing environment.
Myself and my wife booked in for a last minute stay at this wonderful little barn conversion just outside Bath over the last weekend of May. We arrived quite late in the evening but were kindly welcomed by Karen with gorgeous freshly baked brownies and warm hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay here, especially the amazingly comfortable super king size bed, the peaceful rural location and the general ambience of this cozy little bolt hole. Only a ten minute drive into central Bath is an added bonus! A perfect stay, wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future.
Thank you Karen for making me feel so welcome, and for a lovely stay in Little Orchard. The bed was super comfortable and I slept very well. The room is really lovely, in an idyllic country setting, I would definitely recommend it to a friend, and hope to be back one day. My children devoured the brownies you gave me as soon as I got home! Thank you!
Lovely cottage, ideally situated, nicely furnished and very clean. Karen is a great host!
The cottage in Bathford was our first stop from the states so we needed a place to adjust to the new time zone and rest up a bit. It was perfect. Karen's cottage is private, comfortable, functional and beautiful. Lovely place and lovely hostess.
Karen was a fab hostess. The cottage was beautiful and so was the area. The cottage was supplied with everything you could need for a weekend away, we even had delicious brownies left for us (which were devoured within seconds). Thanks for a great weekend.
karen's place was lovely, very cosy and clean. Karen made sure we were all comfortable and made sure we had the essentials, she even made us some brownies! In addition to being good at baking, she was very welcoming and informative on where to go and eat etc. Even at short notice she was able to grab a baby cot and redo the bedroom to accommodate all of us. Thank you very much for having my family! It was a lovely place, I would definitely recommend it!

Amazing place to stay, great location and we were made to feel very welcome. Would love to stay again in the future.
Lovely Apartment, great location, looked just like it was advertised on the site and the host was extremely helpful too. Highl Reccomend.
Lovely apartment and host. Thank you Brenda!
Brenda met us at the apartment and made us feel very welcome, she helped us get our bearings on the map and wished us a good stay. The apartment was exactly as per the pictures: well finished; spacious and remarkably quiet. The city centre was within easy walking reach and it was a great base to explore from. It was also a lovely place to retreat back to after a busy day of sight-seeing and shopping. The kitchen was well appointed and included some very useful essentials (coffee, butter etc) and the bed was very comfortable. The only minor niggle was the water pressure in the shower which wasn't very strong but that's being nit-picky. We really enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend the apartment.
We loved our stay in early October. Bath was all we hoped for: wonderful architecture, museums, food (our favorite: "the Circus Cafe", the nearby gardens (Iford, Bowood.) Brenda's flat is wonderful: great location, quiet, easy beautiful walk to town, and so comfortable and spacious and well appointed. She made it all easy: even waiting on curbside to wave us in when we drove in from Heathrow that morning. We hope to return for another garden tour using Brenda's flat as our base. This was our first time using airbnb. Only one problem; my credit card # was hijacked by someone in London???about the same time I made the web-site reservation. I suspect some glitch in security on -line,
We had a great night in bath. The room is very spacious and the small balcony a very nice place for breakfast at a sunny morning. Everything was clean, so we can highly recommend this place to everyone.
We had such an amazing time staying in Bath. Russell wants to move there now. The City is so great to visit and the flat was as central as you could wish for. Brenda was a great host being really flexible on our arrival time and really helpful and welcoming. The flat itself is great. We made excellent use of the balcony for breakfast and it was so clean, we felt really at home. I definitely recommend staying here. 10/10.

Brenda personally waited for us in front of the apartment - despite the rain. She was also very flexible about our time of arrival. She is VERY friendly and a kind & nice person. She showed us around the apartment and the little details (flowers, milk & jam in the fridge, cookies, etc) made us feel at home. The apartment is beautiful - just as you can see in the pictures. There is a street in front of the house, but it quiets down at night.

It is a lovely 12 minute walk into Bath centre for all the main sights: Roman Baths & Pump Rooms, the Abbey, Jane Austen Centre, Royal Crescent, Costume Museum and the new Thermae Spa - plus fantastic shops, restaurants, pubs and tea rooms. The pretty route on foot is via Sydney Road or Sydney Gardens, along Great Pulteney Street (film set for Vanity Fair) and across Pulteney Bridge (filmed briefly in Les Miserables). If arriving by car, most guests like to park the car with us and walk into town. The return walk is slightly uphill or a regular bus stops opposite our house, or get a taxi from the Abbey or Train Station for £5-£6. The city has lovely parks and gardens for a stroll or picnic. There are several guided tours of Bath, the "Lord Mayors Walk" is free, or you may prefer the light-hearted walk "Laugh at Bath". Also, there are Open Top Bus tours and boat trips on the River Avon. For countryside walks the Kennet & Avon canal path is just around the corner from our house, with bicycle and boat hire nearby. Bath offers great shops, music /literature events, a Thermae Spa and good theatres - often with famous actors and new productions prior to London's West End. In winter, Bath Rugby and the pre-Christmas Market attract visitors from all over. We are on the edge of central Bath and you can visit most sights on foot. The WALK into town takes approx 12 minutes. The BUS costs c £2, TAXI c £6. and regular TRAINS to London, 90 minutes, Bristol 12 mins, South Wales 50 mins. We enjoyed our time in this compact little apartment. Good location for walking around into town or along the canal. Great to have off road parking. Spotlessly clean and warm. Nice welcome essentials in the fridge. Eileen met us upon arrival and gave us lots of useful info on the area. Thanks for a lovely weekend break.
This is a fantastic place in Bath. The apartment is very modern, comfortable and well located about 10-15 min. Walk from the city center. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you have children ; they have all sort of games and books that will keep the little ones entertained.
This Bath apartment is a true gem and hosts, Eileen and Trevor, are gracious, friendly and helpful. The apt. is modern, sparkling-clean and well appointed. It is a nice size too and was perfect for our family of three - mom, dad and teen. It is a pleasant walk of about a mile to the heart of Bath and main sights. Bath itself is delightful and you will not want to rush through this lovely part of England. All three of us highly and enthusiastically recommend this charming apt. and the kind hosts! We hope to come back some day!
We had a fantastic stay in Bath!! The garden flat was lovely - very clean, comfortable and well appointed! We had a warm welcome from Eileen and she was helpful during our stay! The garden flat is perfectly located, only a short, but pretty stroll from all the main sights! We would not hesitate to recommend this flat, or Bath itself, for a short break away!
My fiancee and I had a lovely time in Bath. Eileen and Trevor made us feel most welcome, and gave us some good advice on things to see and do within Bath. The extra touches they provided for my fiancee's birthday and Easter made it even more special.
This flat is in a great location, within easy reach of the city centre and in a very nice area. We have no complaints about the flat or communication with the owners and really enjoyed our stay. Most importantly the bed is comfortable! I have already recommended this flat to my family!
warm welcome and great communication. beautiful garden apartment and great location within easy walking distance to central bath yet quiet in the evenings.
What a find! A really lovely self contained apartment that was spotlessly clean and in a really superb location for exploring Bath being only a 10 min walk into the centre. Trevor and Eileen made us feel welcome from the outset and we would recommend it to anyone looking to explore the centre of Bath. We will absolutely be back....

My Mother and I (I am Xavier's wife) had a GREAT stay with Robin and Carol! The apartment couldn't be in a better location, 10-15 minute walk to all the top Bath tourist attractions and about 30 seconds from the beautiful Bath Canal. It was quite easy to find from the train station as well. The apartment itself was clean with plenty of amenities and wireless that worked quite well. There was also food for breakfast provided! I slept on the fold out couch which was HUGE and quite comfortable and my Mother was happy in the bedroom. Would be happy to stay here again anytime...Robin and Carol were friendly and helpful, making our first trip in Bath fantastic.
Lovely apartment in a perfect location, minutes to the centre in a beautiful area near canal. Robin is a fantastic host, welcoming, accommodating and gave excellent advice about the area. He went the extra mile and would definitely recommend!
Robin and Carol were wonderful hosts! We thoroughly enjoyed meeting them and staying in their home. They provided food for breakfast, so we didn't need to shop while we were there which was so helpful. It was an easy walk to the downtown, so it was a perfect location. Their place was clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed. They allowed us to leave all our luggage with them on the day we checked out, so we could spend the day in Bath. They are both friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend them and would be delighted to stay there again.
Robin was a great host and the accommodation was wonderful. Thanks again!
As we arrived Robin greeted us at the gate, helped us in with our bags and showed us to the apartment. Breakfast of cereal, muesli, bread and croissants were on offer plus milk and yogurts. The apartment was clean, bright and plenty big enough for 2 people. Robin's partner went the extra mile giving my mum some flowers for her birthday which was greatly appreciated, thank you very much. It was in a perfect location only 10 minute walk to the centre of town where there is plenty going on lots to see and plenty of shops and restaurants. A must is a visit to The Thermae spa which was a wonderful and relaxing experience and good value for money but my advise is get there early as it gets very busy. I would certainly come back to Bath and if Robin's place was available would book it again.
Beautiful apartment and superb location. Quiet to get away from the busy centre but so easy to walk into town. Robin was very helpful on arrival and made us feel very welcome. Would recommend this to anyone going to Bath.
The things that positively surprised me about Robin's place were how quiet it is, how clean it is, how cozy it is and how close to the centre it is. But the thing that positively surprised me the most about Robin's place was that we had bread, milk, coffee, tea and so on for breakfast. The home looks EXACTLY like it does in the photos. There are no surprises .The bathroom is small but enough, the bedroom is cozy, the bed is very comfortable, the living room – perfect for dinner or watching TV, the kitchen has everything necessary. The communication with Robin was literally amazing. It was like being in the hands of a very well organised "company" with the best service.
Great communication, breakfast snacks and coffee in the kitchen, 8-10 minute walk to downtown Bath, and spacious accommodation. Does it get any better? This was a wonderful place and Robin was a welcoming an accommodating host. If you are looking for a place to stay in Bath, Robin's flat should be high on the list.

The flat is so so lovely, very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The location is brilliant, very central and easy to get to. We loved staying here, plus Maureen and Ken were super easy to contact and always answered any questions or issues we had! Thanks again both!
The apartment was beautiful, exactly as shown in the pictures. The location was excellent, we were within walking distance to everything we needed. Thanks for letting us stay!
Fantastic apartment. Lovely light flat with glorious high ceiling giving you a real luxury pad to stay. Location could not be better, as you open the door and you're straight into Bath centre. Maureen was fantastic - warm greeting and recommended some great sites in the city to visit during our stay. Think you'd struggle to find a better flat in a better location in Bath. Would recommend this flat to anyone thinking of traveling to Bath.
I really wish I could list this as more than 5 stars. Absolutely beautiful property with so many helpful and interesting extras. Can't recommend enough and we will definitely be back.
Everything about this trip was perfect, Maureen the host was very nice, We were given spot on information about where to park, eat, shop and sightsee , The flat its self is very nice in appearance and practicality, The best possible location right in the heart of everything, yet very quiet .... We will be going back here without doubt ...This was our 1st experience using Airbnb and it was excellent
Maureen made the effort to meet us outside the property and welcome us. She made us feel very at home then left us to it. The flat is stunning and in a really good central location. We found it very difficult to leave!
Maureen was brilliant and the flat was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bath, the flat was in an amazing location and was beautifully decorated. Would highly recommend staying here for a long weekend. Thanks Maureen!
Thank you Maureen for the opportunity of a wonderful stay in your beautiful apartment. The location is fabulous and everything about your apartment was perfect. We appreciated your prompt communication and warm friendliness ! We so look forward to staying again both Bath & London. We have recommended your place to Kate whom we met in a Cafe in Bath !! R &K x

Our house is a 1940s semi-detached building in a quiet residential area not far from the centre of Bath. We can offer one of our two sitting rooms which converts into a private bedroom. A sofa bed folds out to a king size comfortable double bed. All our bedding is made of 100% cotton and towels and hairdryer are provided. There is also a very small single bedroom (just space for sleeping in a full size single bed) available upstairs. It is very quiet in our street at night and many guests have commented on how well they have slept here. Bathroom and kitchen are shared with the host family. Guests are welcome to help themselves to hot drinks at all times and to store items of food in the fridge. You will enjoy great views across the valley from the garden and its sheltered patio. We are a vegetarian household and provide a wholesome cold buffet style breakfast (muesli/ porridge/ yoghurt/ wholemeal toast or rolls with a number of different spreads or cheeses/ boiled eggs/ fresh fruit and tea, fresh coffee and juice ) included in the price. There is the option of an occasional vegetarian meal with us (by arrangement) when I would ask for a contribution towards the cost. I'm happy to cater for people with special dietary needs provided that you let me know in advance. The house is situated on the north east side of the historical City of Bath, about 30 minutes on foot or less than 10 minutes by car from the centre, yet very close to open countryside with some lovely walks. One of those takes you to an old Norman chapel, surrounded by an old cemetery and a holy well in an enchanting garden. The bus stops opposite the house and takes about 20 minutes to the bus and train station. There's plenty of on-street parking and the neighbourhood is very pleasant. Bath is a popular tourist attraction, with a cosmopolitan ambience but small enough to explore its historical sights and unique architecture on foot. The city has a variety of great restaurants, some of which are very reasonably priced . There are several Indian restaurants where you can bring your own wine, one in fact a mere 5 minute walk from our house. The nearest local shop also is within easy reach on foot. Theatres, cinemas, sport-centres, the famous spa-bath, museums, art galleries, pubs and night-clubs - it's all there. Bristol is 15 mins away by train whilst Salisbury, Oxford and famous sites such as Stonehenge, Avebury, the Cotswolds and Glastonbury or the beaches of the south coast are within easy reach for a day out. Non-smokers. No Pets. Wi-Fi Guests are welcome to sit out on our patio when the weather allows! We have a long garden with a small field at the end, and beautiful views over the countryside to the south east. In summer we often serve breakfast in the garden. Having lived here for a long time, we know all the best places to visit, and we're happy to discuss the local area with guests. We provide a local map and bus timetable too. We are in a quiet suburb with rolling green hills, lovely views, walks into the open countryside 5 minutes from our house, and a 30 minute walk to the city centre, hilly but with great views. The centre of Bath has lots of interesting and unusual shops, and many restaurants and tourist attractions. There is a bus stop right opposite our house, and it takes around 10 minutes to the City centre. To get here from the city, take the No. 6 which is quickest (or the No. 7 but it goes a longer way round), and to return from our house to town take the No. 7 (quickest going to town) or the No. 6. If you feel fit and walk into town there are wonderful views on the way, and it takes 30 minutes.bővebben
Petra and Dick were lovely to stay with. Super helpful and up for a good chat. Not too far from town and far enough that you have lovely views. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
A wonderful and friendly couple. We had a lot of fun.
Petra was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was served in the dining area with a magic view of their terraced garden. The room had it's own tv which meant we had privacy when we required it. Bus at the door step meant no problems getting in or our of Bath. Thoroughly recommend this BnB.
Very very kind host i have ever met. Not far from city center n bus ride was fun too!! Definately go back again
My stay at Petra's was perfect. The room was clean and spacious. The place is a bit away from the city center but can access by bus easily and the area was so nice and quiet. The health conscious breakfast was just perfect for me. (Very impressed with fresh raspberries picked straight from her garden!) I enjoyed chatting with Petra over a cup of tea and breakfast. I wish i could have stayed longer!
Petra and Dick are two lovely people who made us feel welcome and at ease. The house is gorgeous and the area is relaxing.
very lovely hosts, great stay, warm and generous welcome, beautiful sunny breakfast terrace, very homely and relaxed, clean. easy route into centre and very helpful hosts for tips to get about. And the views of Bath and surroundings are truely great.
We came to Bath for a short getaway and we could have not ask for a better host. Both Petra and Dick were really friendly and made us feel at home right away. Both the house and the neighborhood were beautiful and the delicious breakfast made us forget about the rain!

A 'Grand Designs' style self-contained studio with its own parking and private entrance. The studio is a pleasant stroll down to the city centre and on the edge of National Trust countryside. We provide complimentary continental breakfast provisions so our guests can enjoy breakfast in bed! The studio offers a place to relax and a haven from the nearby city bustle. This award winning architect designed apartment is contemporary, but also warm and cosy with a light and airy feel. The living area has a comfortable sofa and armchair as well as a dining table and chairs. It enjoys underfloor heating and electrically operated curtains. It is separated from the deliciously comfortable king size bed and sleeping area by a cleverly designed room divider that offers plenty of storage (including a range of DVDs, board games etc). There is a large T.V, wifi, a DVD player and a fully equipped kitchen with tea, coffee, fresh milk, biscuits and cereals as well as a fridge (with breakfast provisions), separate mini freezer and a washing machine. The shower room is just off the bedroom. Towels and bed linen are provided plus a tower fan for warm nights. We also have a travel cot that can be made available at no cost for very little ones. The studio suits holiday makers who wish to explore and enjoy the World Heritage city of Bath and/or the surrounding areas of Somerset and Wiltshire. It is also ideal for anyone visiting the University of Bath or just looking for somewhere lovely to relax. A parking space near the city is a rare treat in Bath, but at the studio you can enjoy free off road parking on a private drive. The accommodation is accessed via a small spiral staircase from the drive and has its own private entrance off a balcony, part of which is reserved for our guests. We are delighted to greet you personally if we know the time of your arrival and where possible we will be happy to collect you from Bath Spa train or bus station. Alternatively, we can make arrangements to leave a key at the studio. We are happy to include simple self catering breakfast provisions at no cost. There is lots to see and do in Bath and great places to eat out and we would would be delighted to make recommendations to you. The studIo benefits from proximity to both city and countryside. It takes just 20 minutes to wander into the city and the walk takes in spectacular views (or there are buses that run roughly every 10 mins). Should you wish to drive into the centre, there are plenty of car parks. Once there you can wander among the Georgian splendours of the Circle and the Royal Crescent or meander along the less well known avenues, cobbled streets and canal tow paths. There are no end of lovely places to stop for refreshment when the mood takes you and some fantastic award winning restaurants. A trip to the Abbey is well worth making, as is an excursion to one of the many galleries or museums. The Roman Baths offer an amazing glimpse back through time, whilst the modern Thermae Bath Spa is a wonderful way to relax and indulge in some pampering. Bath also offers fantastic shopping as well as great entertainment at the Theatre Royal, the Rondo, the Mission and the Komedia. The studio itself is situated on Bath's skyline, which was purchased by the National Trust many years ago and is a largely flat and very beautiful path which stretches around the 'bowl' of the city. You may like to wander, run or cycle along it. We like to walk to Combe Down, where the Darling Deli offers delicious breakfast and lunches Monday to Saturday. Prior Park Landscaped Gardens and the American Museum are also close by. Widcombe Village itself is at the bottom of the hill. It has a lovely artisan feel and two great restaurants, the White Hart and The Ring 'O' Bells as well as a pub and a small supermarket that is open late. There is another shop at the university offering a wide selection of international food. You are welcome to use the parking space provided for the duration of your stay if you wish, allowing you to travel around by foot, bus, taxi or train (to other destinations). The main bus and train stations are just over 20 minutes walk away down Widcombe Hill, but there are buses roughly every ten minutes (U1 and U18) that take you from near the studio directly into town or to the railway station. There are also plenty of car parks in the city and free places to park in the evening. Widcombe Hill is on the edge of the renowned National Trust Skyline Walk. The stroll down the hill into Bath takes just over 20 minutes and offers great views of the city. If you don't fancy walking down, or indeed back up, you can take the U1 and U18 buses in both directions. The buses run roughly every 10 minutes during the day and continue into the early hours. There are taxis always available from Bath Spa station and plenty of car parks around the city.bővebben
Thanks Julie for a delightful stay at your studio in Bath. This was the first time I had booked accommodation via air BnB and it was a superb outcome. The studio was gorgeous with loads of extra touches that was really appreciated as we had been travelling for 4 weeks at that stage. Julie met us, gave us the details of the studio, a map of the area, public transport details and anything else we required. The studio is within walking distance of the centre of Bath, public transport is close and there was an amazing 10 km Bath skyline walk which we completed. I would certainly recommend this accommodation - the bed was lovely and comfortable - we used the sofa bed as our son had joined us and he commented it was really comfortable as well. Thanks again. Janine - Australia
Wow!! What a lovely flat and fantastic hosts. Julie and Ashley are the most welcoming and helpful people you could ask for. From directions to restaurants to what time and where to get the bus. They helped us have a stress free weekend. Perfect for a romantic weekend away. The bed was lovely and comfortable best sleep I've had in ages !! And the flat overall it's fab I can't fault it in any way. I can't wait to go back to Julie and Ashley's as well as Bath.
We had a lovely stay in the perfect 'studio'. The whole experience - quality of the accommodation, welcome from Julie, extra treats - was 'worth the journey'! We highly recommend the Studio.
A listing can never give an accurate picture of the host and the trouble they go to make their accommodation comfortable and welcoming for the guests. Julie has set the bar pretty high and I doubt we will ever stay in another Airbnb that will surpass our experience here. Julie was there to welcome us and give us a little tour of the apartment. The frig was stocked with everything needed for a generous continental breakfast, and the bath stocked with shower wash, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Julie's place is 5-star all the way!
Julie was a great host and really helped us out. The studio was perfect for what we needed and was exactly like the pictures. Julie really makes sure the property is immaculate when you arrive. Location is also ideal. Although it's easier if you have a car we found it easy to get in to the centre either by walking or getting the bus. Thanks again Julie for being an amazing host. We hope to be back again some time!
Julie was an amazing host and provided more than what was expected, the location is beautiful and perfect for heading to the city centre. We have already discussed when we can come back and stay there again! Thanks Julie and Ashley!
This studio's charm is matched only by the hosts themselves. Julie and Ashley were very kind and generous throughout our stay in Bath, and the building itself was the perfect place to return to after a day in the city; modern, cosy, and beautifully designed. Cannot recommend enough.

We had a wonderful weekend in Rebecca's log cabin. From the bottle of prosecco waiting for us to the beautiful and cosy decor, you couldn't ask for a better way to experience Bath and the surrounding countryside. Rebecca was an extremely helpful host and very quick in responding to any queries we had. All the facilities were of top quality and the hot tub was a lot of fun! A perfect weekend away.
Becci was a helpful and very communicative host, we did not see her until we left but there was no need and I new she was on the end of a phone. The cabin is beautiful and set in the grounds of a stunning home! It is very quiet and private with an amazing hot tub! The local pub does lovely food and bath is easy accessed by bus or cab. The listed description was highly accurate and comes highly reccommended!
My boyfriend and I loved staying in the 'Posh Lodge' fab decor, very clean and the hot tub was great! I would 100% recommend staying here! Thank you
We had a great time staying at the log cabin for 2 nights for my boyfriend's birthday. The hot tub was great, the cabin very comfortable - loved the heated bathroom floor! Lovely touch to have a few essentials in the kitchen. Very easy drive into Bath city as well.
My boyfriend and I had a lovely 2 nights here for his birthday. Becci left us to it and was always on the end of the phone. The cabin and grounds are beautiful as is bath which is a 5 minute drive away!
This was one of the best couple days of my life :) cabin was amazing and comfortable and pretty luxe. Hot tub made the stay and the privacy and seclusion (even for me, a hardened country girl) was quite something! Cava in the fridge and all the breakfast basics was cherry on the icing on the very huge cake. Coming back... ASAP!
We had a lovely weekend at the posh shed. It was beautifully decorated, warm and cosy. The hot tub was a real highlight!
I booked this Lodge for two nights in January, but I wish it could have been two weeks. From the moment I saw this Lodge on this website, I contacted Becci many times to ask questions and Becci was very good at answering my questions and getting back to me straight away. It was easy to find using the Sat Nav and when we arrived we were not disappointed. The lodge is so clean and tidy and has the most cosy beautiful decoration which we loved. It was warm for when we arrived and the hot tub was ready to use. We made full use of the hot tub because it was gorgeous. The hot tub can be seen by the main house, however I felt like it was very private as blinds were drawn and privacy was not an issue at all. The lodge had everything you could possibly need for a romantic getaway, and it was such a nice touch that Becci has left us bread, milk, juice and a bottle of Prosecco. I will 100% be returning. Thank you so much for such a great stay.

You have access to a single bedroom and a spacious bathroom shared with me, with a very good hot shower and bath if you wish to use it. In the morning you have access to an open plan sitting/dining room for a self service breakfast included in the price. It is a non-smoking building but if you are desperate there is a communal back courtyard where you can have a smoke or sit with a friend and enjoy a drink in the warm summer sun. Géraldine made my solitary adventure possible with a nice room, clean, comfortable and very central in a safe and quiet area. The cup of tea was great after a long and windy day out! She made me feel at ease and offered a lot of tips for my trip. It was easy to find the flat with all the indications provided and I could contact her anytime. I'd highly recommend her company to stay in Bath! Thank you for this memorable opportunity!
Geraldine is a fantastic host. I stayed for 3 nights and was wonderful. Thank you for the warm welcoming ~ yummy chocolate chip cookies, tea and very informative tips, maps, guide and recommendation on where to visit, eat and routes to city center with interesting shops and good scenary. Location is perfect very near to the train and coach station. The house and room is beautiful, clean and tidy. I enjoyed my breakfast in the lovely sitting room which is great. Thank you :)
Bath is a great city to visit, but if you want to see more of this beautiful and lively city, talk to Geraldine ;). On my arrival she spent about 45 minutes to explain me the must to goes and to sees. For sure with a cup of tea! Everything including the staircase was really clean and smells nice. I could also sleep like a log. Bath worth another visit and I will be back again.
Geraldine was a truly fantastic host. Friendly, and helpful, she made sure if I wanted to experience the city properly, provided walking routes, offered leaflets and maps of local hotspots. She also is a positive and welcoming person, and her property is a wonderfully cosy place, situated in a really decent part of the city. Very much recommended.
I had such a lovely few days staying at Geraldine's! Unfortunately, due to illness I wasn't able to spend as much time with her as I would have liked but nevertheless she was really warm and welcoming and gave me lots of hints and tips about how I could enjoy my time in Bath! Her house is really gorgeous and comfortable and ideally located to explore the surrounding area!
Geraldine was a great host! Very warm-welcoming. The chocolate chip cookies and tea were great! Location was phenomenal. I would most definitely stay again! Thank you Geraldine!
Stay at Geraldine's place is really great. Warm welcome and we had a great chat. Her introduce me a lot of places that I should visit. Thank you Geraldine.
Geraldine is a wonderful host. Everything is very clear in her warm introduction. A very comfortable stay and perfect spot for exploring Bath.

We really enjoyed our time in Bath staying with Ling. Our room was very comfortable with attention to lots of little details which we really liked: place to put luggage, hanging space, comfortable bed with lots of pillows, excellent lighting etc. The breakfast was excellent. Ling was very welcoming and helpful and the location great as we could walk to all main attractions. There were stairs which one should be aware of but this was not a worry for us.
Very nice, clean and tidy bnb The location is quite convenient It takes 5-10minutes to reach there from the train station The host is so nice to us There are lovely cats Breakfast is fabulous Strongly recommended
Ling runs a really professional, clean and comfortable b&b in Bath. The location is great, 5 minutes walk to the city centre. The room is bright and offers everything you need. The breakfast is really tasty!
Ling is a wonderful host. The room was exactly as advertised. Spotlessly clean. Excellent choice for breakfast individually prepared by Ling. Thank you.
Lovely clean and central room. Ling was very welcoming. Can't fault it.
We really enjoyed our stayed in Ling's place. The room was so gorgeous and Ling is an outstanding host. The breakfast was generous and typically English. She took time to give us some nice tips for visiting Bath. We recommend this place with no hesitation.
We had a great stay at this well located, well presented B&B. From the start of a stay Ling was very attentive and accommodating. The room was clean, tidy and had a great range of tea/biscuits and soaps/shower gels/shampoos. The real treat was the breakfast, a great selection of cooked food from a full english to eggs benedict. This was all very much needed on New Years Day! As a former student at Bath I knew the city well, but Ling was happy to help with how to get around and provided a voucher allowing 50% off at many of Bath's tourist destinations and restaurants. All in all a great stay and highly recommended for a weekend break in Bath. We would happily stay again.
Ling was an amazing host and the location was great. Our room was really clean and Ling was very helpful. I would definitely recommend!

Mark and Jane have a very lovely home. They were so hospitable from beginning to end. Where do we begin? We were picked up from and taken back to the train station, breakfast every morning, given recommendations on places to go, even shown around the fabulous farmer's market, and had countless great conversations. We were sad to leave. Mark and Jane are great and we highly recommend their place for accommodations while in Bath. It is a short and beautiful walk into town (about 10 minute walk max) and cheap for taxi as well.
Jane and Mark are both lovely people. They are so kind and friendly and always made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. The room we stayed in was very nice and quite big. The view from the bedroom windows of the city below was incredible! I couldn't believe the view we were given and for an incredibly affordable price.
The view from Bath does not disappoint. Mark was incredibly nice and picked us up at the bus station and dropped us off at the train station the next morning. The included breakfast was delicious as well. Would suggest this place to anyone!
From the moment Mark picked us up at the train station to when Jane dropped us off downtown, we felt welcome and comfortable. Mark gave us a quick tour before bringing us "home". The view from the room is breath taking! The room was spacious with plenty of room for our luggage . The bed was comfortable and we slept cozy and well under the warm comforter. The house is definitely up a steep hill, and if you enjoy a good hike through beautiful woods, you will love it!! Mark and Jane were delightful honest hosts and we had great conversations!! They went out of their way to make sure we knew where to go and helped us get there. We would love to stay there again!! (Mark and Jane, we hope you had fun on your vacation as well!)
Hey there, Jane and Mark (and Freddy ^^) were really nice hosts. After our arrival Freddy, their son, showed us everything and we had a first great view over the city. The room was very comfortable and if Bath wouldn't have been such an interessting city, we could have been spending much more time in there. The breakfast was also like we've had expected it. And in the livingroom there's and old piano that sounded very well. We would definitely recommend to stay at Janes and Marks house. Till next time Maresa & Philipp
Jane and Mark were amazing hosts. Very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. Jane and Mark even gave us a ride to the city and dropped/picked us up to and from the train station. The room was exactly what it was described to be and the view was just stunning. The observation deck was near the house so it was great to go out for a walk and take pictures. The walk up from the city was beautiful and I think it is totally worth it. I hope to come back again! Thank you for everything.
We loved our stay in Bath! Mark picked us and our luggage up at the train station and gave us an "orientation tour" of town. Our rooms were great, the view fantastic, and the breakfasts delicious. We had fun talking with our hosts and getting tips on things to do and places to go. And it turns out that where they live (Beechen Cliff) was one of Jane Austen's favorite places to walk.
Jane and Mark were wonderful hosts. Their home was beautiful and I cannot say enough about the view from the bedroom... it is incredible!!! I woke up around sunrise to get a drink of water and it was stunning to be able to see ALL of Bath in the early morning light. Jane and Mark were so helpful and provided us with maps, booklets, brochures, and recommendations on where to eat and what to do. They recommended a free walking tour that was excellent! We were very pleased with our stay!
