He/him. Located in a newly remodeled vintage two-level house, this comfy room is ideal to rest after a long flight/trip. Roller shutters let you play between natural bright illumination to almost pitch black at night. It has a private bathroom. Being the only room on the first level of the house, it offers a more private space. A key safe is used to have direct access to the accommodation. A refrigerator outside the room is available.

Located a few blocks from the theater area, the neighborhoods with more cultural and gastronomic activity in the capital (Amón, Otoya, Escalante), and La California, one of the nightlife centers for young subcultures, the house offers an excellent starting point to explore the city. Several of the country's museums, including two of its most important: the Gold Museum and the Jade Museum, as well as the National Theater, the Mercado Municipal de Artesanías (Handicraft Market), multiple supermarkets, bars and restaurants, banks, car rental agencies and hospitals, are within a 10/15 minute walk. Due that the house is located in the heart of the city, expect the typical noise of a city during peak hours.

Barrio Luján: one of the last neighborhoods in the capital with the days of yore “neighborhood life” vibe. You will find the traditional Costa Rican businesses of yesteryear, such as butcher and cobbler shops, greengrocers and bakeries. It has a particular mix of wooden Creole, Victorian Creole, Spanish-American neo-colonial, and Art Deco architecture. Points of interest are: the Barrio Luján Bakery (one of the oldest bakeries in the country), the church, the fire station, in addition to their houses. You can see pretty much all of it in less than an 1 hr walk.

Chinatown: embedded in the Barrio de la Soledad (name after the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Soledad) and the González Víquez neighborhood, this is the first Chinatown in a Central American city. Recently created, inaugurated on December 5, 2012, it covers an area of 12 blocks and offers a variety of oriental supermarkets, shops and restaurants. As its main entrance lies in the 2nd avenue , it is an mandatory route between the house and the very heart of the city.

He / him. Soy un coleccionista de música y naturalista aficionado. Habido de la buena cocina y de la conversación. Vivo en el límite entre Barrio Luján –uno de los barrios más pintorescos del centro de la cuidad- y el recientemente creado Barrio Chino. Usualmente paso mi tiempo trabajando pero cuando puedo estoy en casa o salgo de la cuidad hacia la playa o las montañas.

I live on the border between Barrio Luján - one of the most picturesque neighborhoods downtown- and the recently created Barrio Chino (Chinatown). I usually spend most of my time at work and when off from it; I am either at home or away at the beach or the mountains.
