Footprints Resort is a private boutique resort located in the heart of Hastings Highlands, at the Southern tip of Algonquin Park in beautiful and natural Ontario.

Our Adults Only, pet-free retreat caters to 21+ couples, singles, and groups with an emphasis on rekindling the romance and providing a child-free vacation.

We invite you to explore our private grounds, featuring a private lake and sandy beach.

By day - Explore the trails, paddle the lake or soak up the sun on our private beach. Experience the best the outdoors have to offer.
By night – Party in the Cabana, snuggle by the fire or stare at the stars, or do whatever your heart contents.

There are different accommodation types at Footprints. Rates depend on season and length of stay - check our official website for accurate pricing and deals. Here's a breakdown of what's available:
Rooms
9 Rooms in the motel block. Each is the same layout with fridge/freezer, microwave, and coffee maker, each room has a 3 piece washroom complete with towels and bed linens. (bring your own towels for beach & hot tub)
There are 6 rooms with 2 Queen beds (dbl occ/additional fee for extra persons sharing a room).
2 rooms with a King bed.
1 room with a Queen bed, oval jacuzzi tub with jets, fireplace, and TV.
Villas
There are 6 Villas set apart from the rest of the resort on the edge of the woods.
Each villa has 1 King bed with linens, storage, fridge/freezer, 2 pc powder room. Shared shower facilities are nearby. Bring your own towels for bathing, swimming, hot tub.
Cabins (more economical than rooms and villas)
Each of the cabins has a comfy Queen bed with linens, a window fan, mini fridge and seating outside the door. Shared washroom facilities are nearby. Bring your own towels for bathing, swimming, hot tub.
Camping (even more economical)
While we are not a campground, we can accommodate some tents, campers and small RV's. No hookup. Bring your own towels.
All resort amenities are included in your stay - Communal kitchen and plenty of BBQ's around the grounds to prepare delicious meals (propane provided). No restaurant on site, not licensed. A short trip to town if you've forgotten anything. Borrow the bikes, play yard games, nightly campfires with free firewood.

The area features endless opportunities for you to explore. We invite you to explore the unique characteristics and experiences that the Footprints area has to offer.
Our resort and private lake are surrounded by crown land, and the few neighbors we do have, we don't hear or see at all.

Footprints Resort is a private, Adults Only retreat located in the heart of Hastings Highlands at the southern tip of Algonquin Park in Ontario.

We invite you to explore our beautiful, all-natural grounds, featuring a private lake
and a sandy beach with plenty of lounge chairs. There are many activities on-site as well as places to see nearby. Whether you are looking for adventure or relaxation, you will find it at Footprints. Enjoy all that the resort has to offer: all water-sports activities are included at no additional cost! We have boats, canoes, paddleboats, stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, a large raft with diving board and slide, a party dock & a water trampoline!

There are hiking & biking trails and endless outdoor activities. Consider Footprints your private playground. With so much to do, you will never want to leave!

Imagine relaxing days and warm evenings staring at the stars. Here is your chance to relax and let loose in a private, adult only, KID FREE environment. The resort features a communal Lounge and fully equipped kitchen for all guests' use. Self-catering and non-licensed, guests find this much more economical than 'all-inclusive' vacations. It also has a 3 tier deck with Hot Tub and a conversation pool overlooking the lake.

Book a room, cedar villa or cozy cabin while staying at Footprints. The Casita will sleep up to 6 adults and has a small hot tub of it's own. While not a campground, we can also accommodate some smaller RV's, campers and tents.

At night the fun does not end... We have campfires every night at our Tiki Cabana and if it rains we have a large entertainment center (The Dome) which is also great for meetings and large gatherings.
