The Eco Farm House is a passive solar adobe/straw bale home. It is located on one part of our organic farm; we live elsewhere. The three bedrooms three bath home is designed with privacy and eco-minded values. All of the bedrooms lock from the inside and out, so you and your belonging will be safe. The rose room has a private bathroom.

The shared spaces include the full kitchen, laundry, and pantry with washer/dryer, and porch, as well as the entire yard, including the farm.

A hely
The Front Rose Room is a smaller master bedroom with a full bath and exclusive use of the front sun porch that has a table for computer work. It is a warm bright space with wooden floors and a closet. A large beautiful rose bush adorns the south-facing window.

The parking area is for one car. The front yard is planted with wildflowers, shrubs, and shady trees. The backyard is the farm, and guests are welcome to spend time by the pond or on the farm.

This is a custom-built, eco-friendly home--plenty of natural light, passive solar warmth, made with green materials-- it is one of a kind! We keep it professionally cleaned and only rent to professionals. We require everyone to treat each other and the space with respect and consideration. We will not tolerate otherwise. This is a shared rental, with a working organic farm on site. You are more than welcome to come and enjoy the splendor of the farm! We want you to enjoy your stay.

This is a quiet, and beautiful, setting very near, but not right in the city. The Eco Farm House is Albuquerque's South Valley, our town's best-kept secret! It is a culturally diverse, semi-rural, and transitioning neighborhood. The Farm House is less than a mile from the Rio Grande and has an extensive network of bike and walking routes, as well as the National Hispanic Cultural Center, and the historic Barelas neighborhood. It is two miles from Historic Route 66, the Albuquerque Bio-Park--Aquarium, Zoo, and Aboretum--as well as Old Town. There is a grocery store two minutes away, as well as many authentic Mexican restaurants, and other services. Spanish is widely spoken in the South Valley!

We have been living in Albuquerque for more than 30 years. We run a small organic farm just outside the city limits in the South Valley. We have renovated and built our homes ourselves and with some help from others. We love old homes and DIY projects. Patricia also works as a psychotherapist and Scott runs a case management company. We like people, we love Albuquerque, and we will be happy to point you in the direction of our favorite local places and events!

We are reliable and detail-oriented; we will make sure your stay in our place is comfortable and fun.
