In accordance with BC Provincial Order, we are booking for Leisure Travel *WITHIN THE INTERIOR HEALTH REGION ONLY*.
All others Must be *ESSENTIAL TRAVEL ONLY*.
If you are travelling for valid reasons, you *MUST* provide those reasons, along with documentation and proof to us within 1 hour.

★We do not accept reservation REQUESTS or last minute reservations (less than 24 hours advance notice) from AirBnB guests at this time.

In accordance with Provincial Order, we are currently booking for leisure travel within the Interior Health Region only. All others must be *ESSENTIAL* travel *ONLY*, as per the Provincial Order of Dr. Bonnie Henry.
If you are coming from outside the Interior Health Region for reasons other than *ESSENTIAL* travel , we ask you to please DO NOT BOOK, as your reservation will not be honoured.
We reserve the right to verify any and all information you provide regarding your travel and the reasons for it.
If you are travelling for valid reasons, you *must* provide those reasons, along with documentation of proof to us within 1 hour of booking.
If you do not, your reservation will not be honoured and you will not get a refund.
If you are coming from Alberta with the assumption that our Provincial Order will not apply to you or your travel, please think again. It applies to *everyone* travelling within BC borders, regardless of where they are coming from.
There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.

If you coming from outside of the Interior Health Region and are *not* travelling for essential purposes, you *MUST* stay home and do not come to our area at this time.
We will be more than happy to host your stay in the future, when the pandemic has subsided and travel restrictions have been lifted.

In accordance with Provincial Order, all guests staying *must* normally reside together in the same household. If not, we cannot honour your reservation ***unless you have a work exemption**.
You must confirm this to us in writing immediately upon booking.
You and each guest staying must be prepared to provide proof (Government issued ID with the *same* home address*) of residing in the *same* household upon arrival.
The only exception to this policy is ESSENTIAL WORKERS.
Let us know immediately and provide details of your work to us if you are an essential worker.

In accordance with Provincial Order, we require the contact information (email and phone number) of *ALL* guests staying, not just the booking guest's.
There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.

Due to AirBnB blocking information from being sent in the messaging system, we require you to fill out our Guest Arrival Form *in full* immediately upon booking. (Link will be sent upon booking)
Missing information means you won't be given access to the unit, check in *WILL* be delayed, and/or the reservation may be canceled with no refund to you.

Masks are *REQUIRED* to be worn in the common areas of our building, including the hallways and laundry room.
Face shields or other coverings will not suffice.
This order *IS* police enforceable and subject to a fine of $230 if not complied with.
If you feel you cannot wear a mask, then do not book with us.
If you refuse to comply, or have to be warned more than once, you *WILL* be asked to leave without refund.
There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.

If we discover any information you provide to us is incorrect or misleading at any point up to, or after after your arrival, or at any point throughout your reservation, your reservation will be immediately cancelled without refund to you and, if applicable, you will be asked to leave immediately.

We thank you for your understanding in this.

**Should you book on our non-refundable rate or within our non-refundable period, there will be *no refund*, even if we must cancel due to travel restrictions.

We will not refund on the basis of pre-disclosed house rules that you don’t like or don’t agree to. We want to meet all of our guests' expectations so they have an enjoyable experience at our place. Ensuring our guests are aware of our house rules and expectations helps to avoid misunderstandings and ensures a pleasant stay. It also assures us that our guests have all the information necessary to access our property, including directions, parking instructions, and house rules.
Because of this, we recommend messaging us and sending a booking inquiry before making your booking if you have any questions.

We are a quiet building where guests can relax, and for the enjoyment of all our guests, we require guests to respect our quiet time of 10:00 pm.

This apartment is located in a building with only 4 other rental apartments. This means that less people = more enjoyment for you.

Make no mistake.
We are BUDGET accommodations with competitive pricing as compared to local hotels and other accommodations. However, we are not your home base if you are looking to party. We provide SUPER CLEAN, quiet accommodations and adhere to a quiet time of 10:00 pm.

The ski hill is only a short 5 minute drive away! With 3 courses in town & 5 more only minutes away, this is truly a golfer's paradise!
Unlike some other places, this is a fully legal apartment in a building zoned for short term rentals and owned by us. We also hold a valid business license, so there is no risk of having your reservation abruptly cancelled due to contravention of local bylaws, or worse yet, not having the owner's permission to rent (good news! - we *are* the owners here).

This is a spacious self-contained walk up lock out apartment on the second floor that has been recently updated.

There are three bedrooms with double beds and a pullout bed in the couch and there is a full bathroom with a shower. The full kitchen is nicely equipped to prepare any meals you may want to make.

★This is a walk up lock out apartment. There is *no lift/elevator* in the building.

★NOTE★ This property can only sleep 8 people, maximum, regardless of age. The number of guests must be accurately reported.

★If you have children under 8, we can NOT accommodate you in this unit. Kindly do not send a booking request. Please inquire at other properties that can accommodate you.

★Some noise from the below lock out apartment can be heard on occasion. Faint music from the basement studio can also be heard in the main bedroom on occasion, but only between the hours of 10:00 am - 9:00 pm. Please remember to be considerate and take off your shoes for the sound comfort of those below you.

★This unit is central to everything and is a short 2-minute walk to the Kimberley Nature trails, BC's largest municipal park. Downtown Kimberley's platzl (main shopping district) is only a 3-minute drive or a 15-minute walk.

★Please note: We are NOT located in the downtown core or on the ski hill. This is partly why we can offer such great rates and value for your dollar!

★A super clean place that sleeps 8 with a full kitchen and all the amenities you'll need to cook and provide your group with healthy, home cooked meals.

★FREE continental breakfast for the first day & make your own pancake & oatmeal breakfast! (items subject to availability)

★A great location off the ski hill but still easily accessed within minutes.

Bed linens, blankets, towels, face cloths, are freshly laundered for each guest and toilet paper is provided.


Cooking pots, fry pan, kitchen utensils, dishes, and cutlery are all available for use should you wish to cook meals.

We also provide a kettle, and a full size coffee maker /Keurig style coffee machine combo with a reusable filter. (coffee to put in it is also provided!).

We include internet Wi-Fi in all our apartments.

★We are SELF CHECK IN ONLY. We can not schedule phone calls and will not be available to provide this information at time of check in. ★

★ While our 100-year-old building has been renovated and updated, it does come with some quirks - sound travels easily through our floors and walls to other apartments, so we ask our guests to ‘tread lightly’ and close all doors with care. Please be mindful of this at all times and observe quiet time of 10:00 pm. Of course, reasonable conversation and daily living noise is absolutely fine. :)

★ Some daily living noise from the lock out apartment downstairs can be heard on occasion. Faint music from the basement studio can possibly be heard in the living room on occasion, but only between the hours of 10:00 am - 9:00 pm.

★ SELF-CATERED APARTMENT -During your stay, you are responsible for your own cleaning, cooking, laundry, and/or any additional supplies.
We will provide essentials to get you started, but do not provide supplies for a long term stay. As such, you should take a look at the supplied essentials when you arrive and make plans to acquire more, if required.
There is no maid or laundry service. For bookings longer than 6 days, an interim cleaning is required once every 7 days, for an additional $35 to be paid in the resolution centre after booking. (During Covid- 19, this has been reduced to a linens and towels exchange only for $10)

★ Check out is 10:00 am. Early check in and late check out, *if available*, must be prearranged and a fee will apply.

★ No pets or animals of any kind.

★ Unregistered or unpaid-for guests or visitors are not permitted on the property at any time.

★ Due to owner allergies, please do not use heavy perfumes or bring scented oils onto the property. It *does* permeate the building very quickly and the owner is affected. We use scent free cleaning products whenever possible. Scent free products are always used with all linens and towels.

★We require that you immediately provide us with:
•A list of the first and last names and exact ages of each guest who will be staying on the property along with their email addresses and phone numbers. This is *REQUIRED* by BC LAW. Your reservation must reflect the correct number of guests.
•Your ACTIVE mobile phone number.
•Your email address (Please note that we do NOT have your email address already. AirBnB gives us only an alias email that is routed through them. We need your actual email address.)
•Your home address and your mailing address.
•Your vehicle year, make, model, colour, and plate number (once you have it, if you are renting).

★3RD PARTY BOOKINGS: We welcome bookings for work and will do our best to accommodate you. However, per Airbnb policy, the booking guest must be the guest arriving, occupying the unit, and staying through the entire booking timeframe, unless an Airbnb for Work booker.
This is the only approved 3rd party booking we will accept.
Otherwise, it's easy enough to set up a personal account.

The neighbourhood is central to everything and is situated in a mixed residential/commercial area. A short, 2 minute walk one block east takes you to the Kimberley Nature Trails which is great for the hiking enthusiast in the summer months and the cross country skier in the winter months. A grocery store is across the street, and with 4 restaurants nearby, including 2 right next door and 1 across the street, everything you need is within a few minutes walk. The swimming pool and the civic center, which houses the arena, are only 2 blocks away. The ski hill is only a short 5 minute drive away! The owners live on site and are available should you need anything at all.

We are a self employed musical couple who enjoy the lifestyle that Kimberley has to offer, including hiking, skiing, kayaking, and camping. My husband owns his own music business, renting out professional audio equipment as well as providing professional mixing and DJ services. I also work with him in professional mixing and I also own my own music related business, hosting karaoke for private functions. We have hosted many international students over the last 12 years, so we have a very good understanding of cultural differences and language barriers, and can usually overcome them quite easily. We both speak fluent English and my husband speaks fluent French. Our daughter is also fluent in English, French, and Spanish. I also have basic American Sign Language, though I am a bit rusty, so if you go slow, we should be good! We purchased this commercial/residential building in 2014 and completely renovated all the apartments in it, bringing it up to date to today's standards and style. We live on site in one of the other apartments, so are usually available very quickly to answer any questions or fill any need you may have. We are more than happy to help, so please, just ask! :)

Apartment is located on the second floor and is accessed by a flight of stairs. There is NO elevator.
Like every hotel in North America, we have 24hr video cameras at every entrance/exit & in the common hallways & the parking lot. We just don't hide ours as well as they do.
Parking is available for ONE vehicle and is across the alley on the large lot with the chain link fence. Your parking stall is number 1, in front of the fence. Please do not park anywhere else as those spots belong to other residents.
All other vehicles must park on the street.
