This 6 (six) bed mixed dorm, is part of a small, quiet, boutique - style three floor hostel located in the heart of historic Porto.
You can enjoy a glass of traditional Portuguese wine in a tavern style common living room or at the balcony...
The hostel accommodates up to 10 guests in total, with bathrooms on each floor.
With major attractions at your fingertips- get carried away exploring centuries old lanes to the nearby river Douro!
Individual lockers are available.

A hely
The building has a centenary stair case, hand-made and carved on site and this shared 4 bed mixed room also has a balcony facing the street!

The space is newly renovated,keeping its oldworldly charm, equipped with modern features and spacious, making the house an excellent place to live for long periods,or just for a few days.

The building does not have an elevator or lift, so it is not suitable for people with walking disabilities.

Visit the new Misericórdia Museum
500 years of history i tis reason enough to justify a visit to the newest museum in the city, that Santa Casa opened at Rua das Flores. One of the treasures on exhibit? The Fons Vitae painting, 16th century. By the way, get the single ticket (€11) and visit also the Cérigos of Nasoni and the neo-classic Palácio da Bolsa (Stock exchange palace).

Walk thru the top floor of Ponte Luís I (Luís I bridge) and start taking photos from the colorfull sets of houses and the Sé streets, by the Muralha Fernandina (Fernandina Wall), and the Port Wine Caves, at Vila Nova de Gaia. On the way back, if you are feeling lazy or wish to almost fly like a bird, get a ride from the telepheric (everyday, 10h-20h, €5).

Read a book at the olive trees park
Base Porto is one of the most recents café/bar, situated at jardim das Oliveiras (olive trees garden), inside of the renovated Passeio dos Clérigos. Big chairs and natural wood tables, placed underneath the trees will make a perfect place for a pic-nic on the lawn…

Visit (with a guide) Casa da Música and the Museu de Serralves (Serralves Museum)
The work of the dutch Rem Koolhaas, at the Rotunda da Boavista deserves that you take some time to see it. Everyday, at 11h, 14h30 and 16h (€6/ each person). Also the Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Serralves as available guided tours to their exhibits, limited to 30 persons: Saturdays 17h - €8,50, Sundays 12h – free of pay.

Travel by old electric Tram
The three lines of Porto Tram City Tour : 1 (Bolsa- Passeio Alegre), 18 (Massarelos-Carmo) and 22 (Carmo-Batalha) are an excelente excuse to know the city´s vibrating life, by travelling in an old electric tram. Trips cost €2,50 and are available everyday, between 8h – 20h55.

Shopping at the street markets
New fashion designers, jewelry and others, mixed with second hand items.

One of the best views...
At Escadas dos Guindais, the "Guindalense Futebol Clube" have a beer on a terrace with a stunning view to the river (considered by BBC one of the best views in the world...)

Have a Port wine at the Instituto do Vinho do Porto - Rua Ferreira Borges, 27 - Porto (Institute of the Port Wine - public institution), or buy some to drink at home (closed on the weekend and holidays).

Rent a bike (O Arco da Ribeira - Rua Cais da Ribeira, 18 - Porto)
There is lots of miles to go on a bike, push bike or electric, by the Riverside, starting at the Douro and ending at the Porto and Matosinhos´s beaches.
