This bright, welcoming home is quietly tucked away on a hidden street in a quaint downtown neighborhood. But you’re just a very short walk away from all the festivals on Francis field and St. Augustine’s best restaurants, bars, tours, and more. You’ll find the promise of art, music, and local culture waiting around every corner. But it’s okay to relax, too – whether you’re kicked back watching a movie or enjoying morning coffee on one of the patios, we’ve got you covered.

We call this the Guest House, but the truth is we spend a lot of time here ourselves – it really has become our personal home away from home. So naturally, we really go the extra mile to make sure this welcoming destination has everything you’ll need for a warm, comfortable stay.

You’ll find three comfy bedrooms and two beautiful bathrooms. The spacious living room features an electric fireplace and opens up onto a fenced backyard featuring a stone patio with nice furniture, a fire pit, and a gas BBQ. The open kitchen includes every appliance you could ask for, including a high-tech Revolution toaster and a Keurig coffee system. Morning coffee on the front or back patio is a delightful experience. We’ve decorated lovingly with hand-painted Sticks furniture, Shoestring Creations headboards, and Mackenzie-Childs decor throughout. Both of us love collecting works by local artists, and there are plenty on display. You’ll also find mermaids, seahorses, and sea turtles throughout – each room has a distinctive theme.

The technology never gets in the way, but it’s all within reach whenever you want it. In addition to convenient August smart locks, you’ll find large screen TVs, a portable Bluetooth speaker, and a SoundTouch soundbar by Bose, plus a Bose Wave radio/CD player in the master bedroom. We also have an old-school record player in case the vinyl urge strikes.

You simply won't find a more perfectly situated vacation rental property in uptown St. Augustine.

We are on a hidden street in a cute neighborhood in St. Augustine’s Historic District right off of San Marco Avenue. Uptown boasts an Antique District with some of the finest restaurants, like Raintree and Uptown Swinery, and historic sites as well as easy access to Vilano Beach and US-1. On the third Saturday of every month, the Uptown area has an Art Walk where you can explore the shops, meet the owners, sample some wine and listen to some local music. We’re a quick walk to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, the Fountain of Youth, the Old Town Trolley, the magnificent Fort, and the Bayfront. It’s fun to live a 2-minute walk to Francis Field which is home to several popular festivals; Rhythm and Ribs, Lions Seafood Festival, Celtic Music & Heritage Festival, Old Town Arts Festival, and more! We're also a 10-minute drive to beautiful Vilano beach.

We're Wendy and David,

We work together running TeamBonding, an award-winning corporate team building company offering virtual and in-person events. We live and work outside of Boston in Sharon, MA, the town David grew up in. In the winter of 2021 and now in 2022 we have worked remotely from our 2nd home in St. Augustine, Florida.

Sharon is a pretty cool town and in 2019 we downsized to our 'empty nesting' house on Lake Massapoag, which Wendy renovated and decorated. It came out great and we love it. Prior to that, we lived in and raised our kids in the center of the town in a 2-family house that was built in 1776. We loved our house and the 1BR apartment rental income has helped put all three kids through college.

With one more to go, we visited and fell in love with St. Augustine, Florida, and bought this house. In 2021 we drove here and spent the winter here which was our dream. We were snowbirds, who knew? We hope you enjoy it as much as we do when we're not here.

This house is an amazing house in Downtown or what St. Augustine calls Uptown and we started renting it in October 2018. Got to admit it's sometimes hard being in Boston when we love being down here.

In April we bought a cool new house, Sanchez Suites, and started renting it in August. Guests have loved it! This year we are planning to renovate the warehouse behind the house into the coolest vacation rental house so far.

Wendy, as you will see, loves to decorate and loves Sticks Furniture and loves color and it shows. David loves technology and the August lock and the Nest thermostat and the wireless speakers are his contributions. Our kids love going to visit with friends and we are often down for the 4th of July and for Thanksgiving and the Nights of Lights. If you haven't been, we know you'll love it for the city, the history, the beach, the food, the music and all that goes on in this historic city.

The next project is turning a warehouse into a vacation rental and an office while we are here. We're hoping for April 2022.
