Hello, we are Sylvain and Neva and “Living Caleta Beach” is the symbolic name of our holiday apartment. We would like you to come and fill it with life while we are not using it. The Apartment is placed in the fourth and last floor of a building with just three other neighbors (no Elevator), newly furnished in sea & sailing style. It has lateral views to the Ocean and to the Cathedral.

We comply with Airbnb cleaning recommendations due to COVID-19.
The apartment consists of:
• a large living room with a separated bedroom section (double bed). The sofa can be converted in another bed (comfortable for a child only).
• a small room with a sofa bed (single bed, extendable to a double bed)
• a new bathroom (shower only)
• a fully equipped spacious kitchen
• Two small balconies with lateral views to the beach and to the Cathedral
Good internet connection - WiFi (300 MB/s).

The total surface is approximately 80 m2. The apartment is equipped with blankets and sheets, towels, hairdryer, washing machine, kitchen- and tableware, air conditioning, heating. There is neither dishwasher nor television.
The building has neither lift nor reserved parking. Public parking space is available in the sorroundings. Please note that pets and smoking are not permitted in the apartment.

Cádiz, whose architecture is similar to that of ‘La Habana’ in Cuba, is considered the oldest city of Western Europe, founded in 1100 BC by the Phoenicians who called it Gadir. Cádiz is a vibrant and joyful city, open to the Atlantic Ocean with about 17 kms of beaches between Cádiz and San Fernando, my city of birth. It has a lot to offer, be it at the historical, cultural or leisure level. Take a look for example at the Phoenician, Carthaginian or Roman remains, watch the sunset at Caleta Beach, attend a Flamenco session at the Baluarte de la Candelaria, take a walk through the Parque Genovés, and enjoy the various Plazas… Maybe you prefer to wake up early, visit the fish market and take breakfast with Churros afterwards?
And you can have all this in walking distance.

The summer can start as early as mid-April and ends around mid-October. Beaches are empty from mid-September when school starts. Since the climate is mild, during November and December you can still enjoy the beach while walking or jogging. In February, Cadiz offers its famous Carnival. At end of March or April you can feel the art and spirituality of the wonderful 'Semana Santa' (Holy week).

We are a multi-cultural family who lives in Bern, the capital of Switzerland. Sylvain, my husband, is Swiss, I, Neva, Spanish, actually from San Fernando near Cadiz. Juan, Maria, Abel and Elena are our children.
We enjoy travelling and getting to know other cultures and lifestyles. Be it at the beach, in the mountains or in cities, what we enjoy most is to meet the local people, feel the nature, taste the food, and enjoy the music and folklore of the places we visit. We are very dedicated to our children, but when we get the time, Sylvain and I dance Argentinian tango and like reading and walking. We enjoy staying at historical hotels but also appreciate the advantages of a cosy and tasteful apartment while travelling with our children. By renting ours, we hope that people will experience the same positive impressions we usually do.
Come, feel at home, and relax yourself.

Somos una familia multi-cultural que vivimos en Berna, la capital de Suiza. Sylvain, mi marido, es suizo. Yo, Neva, soy española, de San Fernando, cerca de Cádiz. Juan, María, Abel y Elena son nuestros hijos. Disfrutamos viajando y conociendo otras culturas y estilos de vida. Sea en la playa, la montaña o la ciudad, lo que más nos gusta es vivir la naturaleza, acercarnos a la gente y probar la comida local, disfrutar del folclore y de la música de los países que visitamos. Sylvain y yo estamos muy dedicados a nuestros hijos, pero cuando tenemos tiempo lo dedicamos a leer, pasear, hacer senderismo y a bailar Tango Argentino. Cuando estamos de viajes, nos gustan tanto los hoteles sencillos, con encanto, como los apartamentos cuidados y decorados con gusto. Alquilando el nuestro solo esperamos que os llevéis una buena experiencia como nos ha pasado a nosotros hasta ahora.
