Galeria In The Garden is an unique place in the city of Plovdiv (Bulgaria) - the oldest city in Europe and one of the oldest in the whole world with more than 200 archeological sites dating from 6 000 years starting with neolithic settlement, ancient greek and roman monuments.
Dedicated to provide residence for artists, facilities are open to explorers of the city and the region of Thracia and Rhodope mountains. Best time to stay is April to November.
You'll stay in one of total 3 apartments, each over 40 square meters with sleeping and living/dining area.
Galeria in the Garden twin beds studio comes with twin beds and large sleeping sofa (2x2m). Max capacity of a bedroom is 4 guests Airconditioned.
The bath has shower cabin, sink cabinet and WC.
The open kitchenette comes with oven, filter/espresso machine and kettle. There's a fridge too.
The studio has terrace and access to the large garden - (3 000 sq m) with rich collection of sculptures. There's plenty of open space to relax, to lay under the warm sun or hide in the old trees shadow, to take a swim in the pool, enjoy hammocks...
Garden furniture and dining table available.
Free WiFi, some coffee and tea.
We provide electric oven upon request. BBQ and washer.
If you don't have a car we'll meet you at Plovdiv train/bus station and bring you to the place for free :).

The guests will have all positives of the city and country life - all facilities one expects from the urban life and the idyllic rural atmosphere.
We know the name of the cow we buy the milk - and she passes twice daily by, the eggs are fresh from another farmer, just picked up the vegetables from the neighbor. We could buy for the guests too.
Best to come by car (or taxi)
There are 4 km to the bus and train station.
and plane - to the international airport Sofia there are 130 km and 30 only to the International airport Plovdiv.
The outskirts Rhodope mountain are 5 km to the south.
The distance to the public bus stop is about 350 m, to the popular roman stadium and theater is 4 km and to the old town - 5 km.

I'm happy and proud to live in Plovdiv. We live in a house in the garden with my family for about 18 years. We're investing a lot of time and care to have this nice place our guests call "peace of heaven".
We love art and build the villa to welcome artists on their creative trip in Plovdiv.
We love parties and host many in the garden. But there won't be a party when You stay here unless You have one.
