Superb self-contained ground floor apartment, with 2 ensuite bedrooms is part of a stone built 19th century house.
Located in the centre of Hexham, a few minutes walk to the Abbey.
Equipped to an exceptional standard and provides the perfect base for a relaxing break, and for exploring Northumberland attractions.

The accommodation is all on one level.
Open plan kitchen/living room with dining area, well furnished with 32” flat screen TV with Sky+ HD, DVD, CD/radio player, and free unlimited super fast fibre WiFi.
The well equipped dining kitchen area has electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Complete with all kitchen equipment, cookware, tableware, glassware, crockery and cutlery necessary for serving upto six people.

Bedroom 1 - Double bed with en-suite bathroom, over bath shower and WC.
Bedroom 2 - Twin bedded room with en-suite bathroom with over bath shower and WC.

All the beds are fitted with duvets, and mattress protectors, all bed linen (sheets, pillowcases, etc) are changed and freshly laundered before and after each stay.
Each guest will be provided with bath sheet and bath towels. Additional hand towels and bath mats are provided in each bathroom.

Travel cot and highchair are available in the apartment. Please advise if needed, guests should bring their own bedding etc for the cot if required.

Gas central heated with each room radiator individually temperature controlled. Water is also heated by gas boiler, and is instantaneous from all taps and showers

Roadside parking outside apartment, with a residential parking permit for one car.

Situated in the centre of Hexham very close to the historic medieval Abbey, and short walking distance to all the towns attractions, shops, pubs and restaurants. Hexham is an market town dating from medieval times, and has many historical sites, tales, etc. It has a farmers market every second Saturday in summer months, a super park (the Sele) next to the Abbey, with children playground and bowling greens. There also Tyne Green within a short walk, which has further children play areas, and a fabulous river side walk along side the golf course.
This apartment is ideal for those wishing to explore Hexham town, UNESCO’s world heritage Hadrians Wall, Northumberland’s national park and AONB’s of north Pennines and Northumberland’s Coast, and many many more attractions of the Northeast and Northumberland.

There is roadside parking outside the apartment, with residential parking bays, guests will be provide with one parking permit for these bays.
There are numerous car parks throughout Hexham. All have free parking, but most are time limits on length of stay.
Please note car parks within Hexham are regularly patrolled, and time restrictions are rigidly enforced.

We live in Hexham and are only 5-10 minutes away from the apartment, and will be on hand to assist guests with any issues. There is a lockbox for the keys to the property, so guests can arrive anytime after the check-in time/day.
We have fairly relaxed attitude to interaction with our guests. If we’re not travelling, and we are available in Hexham on the arrival date & time, we normally do a short meet/greet with new guests to welcome them to our apartment & show them around if required.
However, we will ALWAYS send directions & access information prior to arrival date/time.

The meet/greet is also an opportunity to provide guests with information on Hexham and surrounding area, together with tips and recommendations on places to visit, local amenities, restaurants, cafes, tea rooms, pubs, etc.
If any guests would like to meet us on arrival, or need assistance with luggage etc, please advise us prior to your arrival. Otherwise we leave the guests to enjoy and explore the apartment, Hexham and the surrounding regions.

There’s a house manual in the apartment, this gives all the information needed for kitchen appliances, together with instructions for TV, dvd, WiFi codes/ passwords etc. Instructions on rubbish disposal/re-cycling, check-out/lock-up details, contact details, information on local shops, restaurants & pubs, etc are also in the manual. Which is in the form of a blue folder left on the lounge coffee table.
