Experience the magical, wintry landscape of the Arctic. Nights will be spent waiting for the Northern Lights to paint the starry sky with spectacular dancing color. You’ll stay in a shared guesthouse with a sauna, and sample local cuisine around a campfire. You’ll hop on a sled pulled by a team of huskies and photograph reindeer and moose in the snowy wilds. There will always be the option to get in more physical activity by cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and ice fishing on a frozen lake.

Born and raised in Blueberryland by a campfire among moose and pine cones. I am a soft-adventure-nature-lover. I share my days with my two little blonde fairies. We love to walk on skis, to canoe across silent lakes and to climb trees. We're heating up in saunas and cooling down in Lapland. I founded my travel company WildSweden in 2003 and it is the only job I've have ever had. I have a handful of amazing guides but I still love to lead tours. Awards: "Swedish Ecotourism company of the year", "Tourism company of the year in Sweden" and one of our tours was mentioned as one of 50 Tours of a Lifetime by National Geographic Traveler magazine.

This experience takes place north of the Arctic Circle, in the small town of Jokkmokk in Swedish Lapland. We’ll take day trips by driving and dog sled, and spend a night glamping in tents.
